The AirTAC GFR30008MLC2WTK AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT1/4 is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 5 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1/4" ports, a manual drain and regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The GFR30008MLC2WTK is an AirTAC GFR300 filter regulator: one body that removes water and particulate from compressed air and then regulates the downstream pressure. This configuration is the low-pressure type, built for circuits that run below standard line pressure, with a 5 um filter element (code W), a manual drain on the polycarbonate bowl, a round gauge with a psi scale, and a reverse/check valve fitted. Ports are 1/4 in NPT, a mounting bracket is included, maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi), and the working temperature range is -5 to 70 C (non-freezing).
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with ports from 1/8 in to 1 in, and options across drain type (differential-pressure, automatic or manual), filter grade (40 um standard, 5 um with code W), gauge style and scale (MPa, psi or bar), and PT, G or NPT threads. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so ask us to confirm the datasheet figures for your application on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. The low-pressure type adjusts over a lower band than standard; we confirm the exact figures from the factory datasheet. Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

| M | Drain: Manual drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi)). |
| L | Low-pressure type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |

| C | Gauge shape: Round. C is round, F is square. |
| 2 | Gauge scale: psi. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| W | Filtering grade 5 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| T | NPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| K | Reverse-flow (reflux) valve fitted. |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

On assembly fixtures and pneumatic clamping stations that run below standard line pressure, this unit filters water and chips out of the shop air and holds the reduced pressure the clamps were designed around, with the check valve holding the setting if upstream supply dips.
Feeding diverters, pushers and sealing heads on a packaging conveyor, the 5 um element protects the small control valves from particulate and condensed water, while the regulator sets the gentler pressure these actuators need.
Positioners and pilot-operated process valves need clean air at a steady, often reduced pressure. This filter regulator conditions the instrument air line, and the psi-scaled round gauge lets technicians read and verify the setpoint at a glance.
Size 300 with 1/4 in NPT ports is the middle step of the GFR range; step up to size 400 or 600, or down to 200, as your line's flow demand changes. Choose the drain to match maintenance reality: automatic drains condensate without attention, manual needs an operator to open the drain, and the differential-pressure default drains as the element loads up - this model is manual. Pick 40 um for general protection or 5 um (this unit, code W) where finer particulate matters downstream. Gauge scales are MPa, psi or bar; this model carries a round psi gauge. Thread here is NPT; PT is the standard and G (BSPP) is also available to order. Because flow is published as curves, not a single rated figure, send us your flow and pressure requirements and we will confirm sizing against the datasheet before you order.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. The reflux valve permits reverse flow through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR300 as performance curves rather than a single rated figure, so there is no one l/min or SCFM number we can honestly quote. Tell us your flow and working pressure and we will confirm the sizing against the datasheet on request before you order.
The M in the code means the condensate in the polycarbonate bowl is drained by hand - an operator opens the drain periodically, which suits lines that are checked daily or shut down between shifts. If nobody will be at the machine, the same GFR300 body is available with an automatic drain (code A) or the differential-pressure default drain instead.
