The AirTAC GFR30008MLJF1WT AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT1/4 is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 5 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1/4" ports, a manual drain and regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR series combines a compressed-air filter and a pressure regulator in one body: water and particulate are removed first, then the downstream pressure is set, without a separate second unit. This GFR30008MLJF1WT is the 300 size with 1/4 in NPT ports, a 5 um filter element (code W, against the 40 um standard), a manual drain, the low-pressure regulator type (code L), an embedded square gauge reading in MPa, and no mounting bracket or check valve. The 300-size bowl is polycarbonate (PC); maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and the working temperature range is -5 to 70 C, non-freezing.
It is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR range spans four sizes (200, 300, 400 and 600) with ports from 1/8 to 1 in, and each size can be ordered with a different drain type, filter grade, gauge and thread form (PT as the standard, with G and NPT as catalogue options). AirTAC publishes flow as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number here - ask us for the datasheet and we will confirm the figures against your application.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. The low-pressure type adjusts over a lower band than standard; we confirm the exact figures from the factory datasheet. Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.
| GFR300 | G-series filter regulator, 300 body — sets the port range. |
|---|---|
| 08 | Port size PT1/4". This body offers 08 = PT1/4", 10 = PT3/8", 15 = PT1/2". |
| M | Drain: Manual drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi)). |
| L | Low-pressure type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| J | Supplied without bracket. |
| (blank) | Pressure gauge fitted (blank). |
| F | Gauge shape: Square. C is round, F is square. |
| 1 | Gauge scale: MPa. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| W | Filtering grade 5 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| T | NPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Filtered, regulated air to pneumatic clamps on a machining fixture: the 5 um element keeps pipe scale and debris out of the clamp valves, and the square MPa gauge lets the setter read the setting directly at the fixture.
Point-of-use supply for spray guns on a paint or coating line, where the low-pressure (L) regulator type is the intended choice and the 5 um filtration helps keep water and grit out of the finish.
Local air preparation for the cylinders and grippers on a packaging conveyor: one body does the filtering and the regulating, the manual drain is opened during shift-start checks, and NPT1/4 ports suit the machine's existing pipe runs.
The real choices within GFR300 are all decodable from the code. Step up or down a size (200, 300, 400, 600) to match the port and the flow your line needs - this unit is 1/4 in NPT. Choose the drain: manual (code M, this unit) means someone opens the drain at set intervals; automatic (A) and the differential-pressure default handle condensate for you. Choose the element: 5 um as here (W) where downstream equipment needs finer air than the 40 um standard. The gauge is the embedded square type reading MPa; psi and bar scales, and an external round gauge, are available in the range. Thread is NPT here; PT is the standard and G (BSPP) is also offered. Note the L code: this is the low-pressure regulator type, and its exact adjustment range is not published - we confirm it on request. Because flow is published as curves, not a single rating, send us your application details and we will confirm sizing before you order.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes G-series flow as curves, not as a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number here. Send us your application - port size, downstream demand and line pressure - and we will confirm the flow figures from the datasheet before you order.
The M in GFR30008MLJF1WT means condensate collected in the polycarbonate bowl is released by opening the drain by hand at intervals you set. If you would rather not do that, the GFR300 range is also available with an automatic drain (code A) or the differential-pressure drain that is the catalogue default.
