The AirTAC GFR30008MLJF2G AirTAC Filter Regulator G1/4 Low-Pressure is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1/4" ports, a manual drain and regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The GFR30008MLJF2G is an AirTAC GFR300 filter regulator: water and particulate filtration plus pressure regulation combined in a single body. This configuration is built around a G1/4 (BSPP) port, a 40 um standard filter element and a manual drain, so condensate is removed by opening the bowl drain by hand as part of routine maintenance. The regulator is the low-pressure type, suited to circuits that run well below standard line pressure, and the fitted embedded square gauge reads in psi so the setpoint can be checked at a glance. No mounting bracket is included and no reverse/check valve is fitted.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with a choice of ports, thread options (PT standard; G and NPT to order), drain types (differential-pressure, automatic or manual), 40 um or 5 um elements, gauge scales in MPa, psi or bar, and bracket options. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so ask us to confirm the datasheet and sizing for your application on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. The low-pressure type adjusts over a lower band than standard; we confirm the exact figures from the factory datasheet. Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

|---|---|
| 08 | Port size PT1/4". This body offers 08 = PT1/4", 10 = PT3/8", 15 = PT1/2". |
| M | Drain: Manual drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi)). |
| L | Low-pressure type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| J | Supplied without bracket. |

| F | Gauge shape: Square. C is round, F is square. |
| 2 | Gauge scale: psi. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| G | G (BSPP) thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Feeding a carton-sealing or wrapping machine that runs its actuators at reduced line pressure: the 40 um element strips water and pipe scale ahead of the valves while the low-pressure regulator holds a gentle, stable working pressure.
Regulating the air that meters a hot-glue or coating head on a production line, where the low-pressure type keeps the setting in the lower part of the gauge and the manual drain lets maintenance purge accumulated condensate each shift.
Mounted at the inlet of a control panel or manifold serving multiple low-pressure circuits: one body does the filtering and the regulation, the psi square gauge gives the operator a visible setpoint, and the G1/4 port suits compact panel plumbing.
Choose the size and port step against the air demand of the circuit - sizes 200/300/400/600 step up in port and flow capacity, and this unit sits at size 300 with a G1/4 port. Drain type is a real choice: manual (this unit) needs a scheduled drain check, while automatic or differential-pressure drains remove condensate without operator action. The filter grade is 40 um standard here; specify W for the 5 um element where downstream equipment needs finer filtration. Gauge scale (this unit: psi square gauge; MPa or bar also available) and thread (PT standard, G or NPT to order) are selected at ordering, as is the bracket option (not fitted on this code). Flow is published as curves, not a single rating, so ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as performance curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote a rated flow, Cv or SCFM number. Tell us your application and we will confirm the sizing against the datasheet curves on request before you order.
The M in the code selects the manual drain: condensate collected in the polycarbonate bowl is released by opening the drain by hand, so it belongs on a maintenance schedule. If you would rather not drain by hand, the same GFR300 body is available with an automatic or differential-pressure drain - just ask for the alternative code.
