The AirTAC GFR30010C2G AirTAC Filter Regulator G3/8, 40 um is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT3/8" ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The GFR30010C2G is an AirTAC GFR300 filter regulator: filtration and pressure regulation combined in a single body. It removes water and particulate from compressed air with the standard 40 um element, then regulates downstream pressure within the 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi) adjustment range. This configuration has a G3/8 (BSPP) port, a differential-pressure drain that bleeds collected condensate automatically whenever the pressure drop across the element is high enough, and a round pressure gauge reading in psi. The polycarbonate bowl suits the size 300 frame, and the mounting bracket is included. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi); operating temperature is -5 to 70 C, non-freezing.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family is available in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with port sizes from 1/8 to 1 inch, thread options PT, G and NPT, manual, automatic or differential-pressure drains, a 5 um (code W) filter element option, gauge and scale choices, and a low-pressure regulator type. Flow figures for this series are published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us and we will confirm the datasheet figures for your application on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

A filtered and regulated supply point for workshop air headers, giving individual machine drops clean air at a set pressure instead of raw header pressure.
Feeding cylinders and air-operated packaging machinery on a bottling or cartoning line, where the 40 um element keeps debris out of valves and the regulator holds a stable working pressure.
Supplying pneumatic clamps and fixtures on a CNC cell, where the regulator sets a repeatable clamp pressure and the filter protects the clamping valves from water and scale in the shop air.
Start with the port and size step: size 300 with a G3/8 port sits mid-range in the GFR line, and the right step depends on the air demand of the circuit downstream - if your flow requirement is near the top of a size, move up one size rather than accepting a large pressure drop. Next, choose the drain: this unit uses the differential-pressure drain (the default), which discharges condensate automatically on demand; a manual drain (code M) or fully automatic drain (code A) can be ordered instead. The standard element is 40 um; specify code W if your application needs 5 um filtration. The C2 code on this model orders the optional external round gauge with a psi scale; the embedded square gauge with MPa, psi or bar scales is the alternative. Thread is G (BSPP) here, with PT as the standard and NPT available to order; the mounting bracket is included on this configuration.
Because flow for the GFR series is published as curves and not as a single rated figure, we do not quote a flow number here. Send us your application details and we will confirm the sizing against the datasheet curves before you order.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as curves, not as a single rated number, so we do not state a flow figure here. Tell us your application and required flow, and we will confirm the datasheet curve figures for this size 300, G3/8 unit on request before you order.
The differential-pressure drain is the default on this model: it discharges collected condensate automatically whenever the pressure drop across the 40 um element rises high enough, with no operator action. If you prefer to drain by hand during maintenance, order the manual-drain version (code M); for continuous unattended drainage, the automatic-drain version (code A) is available in the same size.
