The AirTAC GFR30010F1WT AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT3/8 5 um is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 5 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT3/8" ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR30010F1WT is a size-300 filter regulator that removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure in a single body. This configuration has a 3/8 in NPT port, a 5 um filter element for finer filtration than the standard 40 um grade, a differential-pressure drain that bleeds collected condensate automatically when the pressure differential across the element rises, and an embedded square gauge reading in MPa. The standard regulator covers an adjustment range of 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi), and maximum working (inlet) pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi). Operating temperature is -5 to 70 C, non-freezing. The polycarbonate bowl is fitted and a mounting bracket is included.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with port sizes from 1/8 in to 1 in, a choice of differential-pressure, automatic or manual drain, 40 um standard or 5 um (W) filtration, square or round gauges with MPa, psi or bar scales, G (BSPP), NPT or PT threads, and an optional reverse/check valve. Flow for this series is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so ask us to confirm the datasheet figures for your application on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

| W | Filtering grade 5 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |

| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Feeding a bench pneumatic press or clamping fixture: the 5 um element protects directional valves and cylinders from water and fine particulate, while the regulator holds a stable set pressure for consistent forming and clamping force.
Conditioning the air supply to a packaging machine's diverters, sealers and pusher cylinders, where the differential-pressure drain keeps condensate out of the valves and the gauge lets operators verify the line set pressure at a glance.
Supplying clean, regulated air to pneumatic control panels and pilot-operated instrumentation on a process skid, where the finer 5 um grade suits sensitive pilot valves and the NPT3/8 port matches common panel piping.
Pick the size and port step against the air demand of the circuit: this unit is size 300 with a 3/8 in NPT port, one step up from the 1/4 in size-300 variant and below the size-400 1/2 in option. Because flow is published as curves and not as a single rating, ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering. Other real, decodable choices: drain type (this unit uses the differential-pressure default; automatic (A) and manual (M) versions exist), filter grade (this unit carries the finer 5 um W element; 40 um is the standard grade), gauge style and scale (this unit has the embedded square gauge in MPa; external round gauges and psi or bar scales are options), thread (PT is the standard; G and NPT are order options - this unit is ordered in NPT), and bracket (included here; J versions omit it).
Note that the regulation range of 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi) quoted here applies to this differential-pressure-drain configuration; manual-drain variants in the family quote 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi). Confirm the exact datasheet figures with us on request.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR300 series as curves, not as a single rated number, so we do not quote a rated flow, Cv or SCFM figure. Contact us and we will confirm the datasheet flow curve for this 3/8 in NPT, 5 um configuration against your application before you order.
The W in the code specifies the optional 5 um filter element, one grade finer than the 40 um standard, for circuits with sensitive valves or instrumentation. The drain code is blank, which is the differential-pressure type: condensate is discharged automatically when the pressure drop across the element indicates the bowl needs draining. Automatic (A) and manual (M) drain versions are also available in the family.
