The AirTAC GFR30010MC2G AirTAC Filter Regulator G3/8, 40 um is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT3/8" ports, a manual drain and regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR30010MC2G is a size-300 filter regulator that removes water and particulate from compressed air and sets downstream pressure in a single body. This configuration has G3/8 (BSPP) ports, a manual drain bowl in polycarbonate, a 40 um standard filter element, and a round pressure gauge reading in psi. The standard regulator covers 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi) with this manual-drain version, and the maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi). Operating temperature is -5 to 70 C (non-freezing), and a mounting bracket is included.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR range is available in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600, with port options, automatic or manual drains, a 5 um (W) filter element, gauge scale choices and reverse/check valve variants. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so we confirm the datasheet and sizing figures on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

| C | Gauge shape: Round. C is round, F is square. |
| 2 | Gauge scale: psi. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| G | G (BSPP) thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Filtering and regulating the supply to a pneumatic press cylinder, keeping water and swarf out of the valve stack while holding a stable set pressure for consistent forming strokes.
Conditioning air for conveyor stopper cylinders and carton-closing actuators on a packaging line, with the psi round gauge letting operators check the set point at a glance.
Serving as the point-of-use filter regulator on a 3/8 in plant air drop feeding air tools and small actuators, with the manual drain emptied during scheduled rounds.
Size 300 with G3/8 ports is the right step when your line's flow demand sits above what 1/4 in porting supports - match the size to the published flow curve for your consumption, and we will confirm the curve for your application before you order. This unit has a manual drain, which suits installations where an operator drains the bowl as part of a routine; choose the automatic-drain variant if the bowl is hard to reach. The 40 um element is the standard grade for general air prep; specify 5 um (code W) where finer filtration is needed downstream. The round gauge here reads in psi; MPa and bar scales are also available, and PT or NPT threads can be ordered instead of G. A mounting bracket is included.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as curves, not as a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number here. Tell us your application and consumption and we will confirm the sizing against the datasheet curve on request before you order.
The M in the code means the polycarbonate bowl is drained by hand rather than automatically. It suits positions an operator visits routinely; if the unit is mounted out of reach, order the automatic-drain variant of the same GFR300 size instead.
