The AirTAC GFR30010MC2GK AirTAC Filter Regulator G3/8, Manual Drain is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT3/8" ports, a manual drain and regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The GFR30010MC2GK is an AirTAC GFR300 filter regulator: filtration and pressure regulation combined in one body. It removes water and particulate from compressed air with the standard 40 um element, then regulates downstream pressure across a 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi) range. This configuration has G3/8 (BSPP) ports, a manual drain bowl in polycarbonate, a round pressure gauge reading in psi, and a reverse/check valve fitted. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi); operating temperature is -5 to 70 C, non-freezing.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family is available in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with a choice of port sizes, G or NPT thread options, manual, automatic or differential-pressure drains, a 5 um (W) filter element, square or round gauges with MPa, psi or bar scales, and a low-pressure regulator type. Flow figures are published as curves rather than a single rating, so we confirm datasheet numbers on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

| 2 | Gauge scale: psi. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| G | G (BSPP) thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| K | Reverse-flow (reflux) valve fitted. |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Feeds filtered, regulated air to the tool-clamp and tool-change circuits of a CNC machining centre, where the 40 um element protects directional valves and the psi gauge lets setters verify clamp pressure at a glance.
Installed at the drop point of a cartoning or wrapping line to condition the air feeding the conveyor stopper and case-eject cylinders, with the check valve holding downstream pressure if the main supply dips.
Mounted on a workholding fixture panel to regulate clamping pressure on a pneumatic press, giving the operator a local psi reading and manual drain access during shift checks.
Size and port set the flow capacity: the GFR300 with G3/8 ports sits in the middle of the range (200, 300, 400, 600), so step up or down according to the air demand of the circuit. Drain choice matters: manual drain (this unit) needs periodic bleeding by an operator, while automatic or differential-pressure drains discharge condensate without attention. The standard element is 40 um; specify code W for 5 um where finer filtration is required. Gauges come as an embedded square gauge or an external round gauge, scaled in MPa, psi or bar - this unit carries a round psi gauge. Thread is G (BSPP) here; PT is standard and G/NPT are order options. A mounting bracket is included, and the K code adds a reverse/check valve.
Flow is published as curves, not a single rated figure, so ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. The reflux valve permits reverse flow through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as curves, not as a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number. Tell us your application and we will confirm the flow and sizing from the datasheet on request before you order.
The M in the code specifies a manual drain bowl: condensate is discharged by opening the drain by hand at intervals. If you prefer unattended condensate removal, the same GFR300 body is available with an automatic drain (code A) or a differential-pressure drain (blank) - note the regulation range differs: manual-drain units adjust 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi), while automatic and differential-pressure versions adjust 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi).
