The AirTAC GFR30010MLC2GK AirTAC Filter Regulator 3/8 G-Thread is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT3/8" ports, a manual drain and regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR300 series combines water and particulate filtration with pressure regulation in a single body, and this configuration is the 300 size with a G3/8 (BSPP) port. It carries the standard 40 um filter element, a manual drain (code M), the low-pressure regulator type (code L), an external round gauge on a psi scale (C2), a fitted check valve (K) and a mounting bracket. With a manual drain, an operator opens the bowl drain to expel collected condensate, which suits installations checked as part of a routine walk-round. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and the working temperature range is -5 to 70 C, non-freezing.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with ports from 1/8 to 1 inch, and offers drain, filter-grade, gauge, thread and bracket options; on the 300 size the bowl is polycarbonate (only size 600 uses aluminium alloy). Flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so ask us to confirm sizing and any datasheet figure for your application before ordering.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. The low-pressure type adjusts over a lower band than standard; we confirm the exact figures from the factory datasheet. Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.
| GFR300 | G-series filter regulator, 300 body — sets the port range. |
|---|---|
| 10 | Port size PT3/8". This body offers 08 = PT1/4", 10 = PT3/8", 15 = PT1/2". |
| M | Drain: Manual drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi)). |
| L | Low-pressure type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| (blank) | Mounting bracket included. |
| (blank) | Pressure gauge fitted (blank). |
| C | Gauge shape: Round. C is round, F is square. |
| 2 | Gauge scale: psi. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| G | G (BSPP) thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| K | Reverse-flow (reflux) valve fitted. |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Filtered, regulated air to gripper and capper cylinders on a bottling line, with the manual drain opened during changeover so condensate is cleared before the next run.
Supplying a clamping and fixture circuit on a CNC machining cell, where the 40 um element protects downstream valves and the fitted check valve blocks backflow at the unit.
Low-pressure regulated air to diverter and stopper cylinders on a packaging conveyor, with the drain check added to the operator's shift-start walk-round.
The real, decodable choices in this family are: size and port step (200/300/400/600 with ports from 1/8 to 1 inch) against the air demand of the circuit; drain type - differential-pressure (default), automatic (A) or manual (M, as on this unit); filter grade - 40 um standard or 5 um (W) where finer filtration is needed; gauge - embedded square as standard or external round, with MPa, psi or bar scale; thread - PT as the family standard with G and NPT as order options; and bracket included or omitted (J). This unit is the low-pressure type (L); its regulation range is not published in the sheet we work from, so confirm your set pressure with us before ordering. Flow is published as curves, not a single rating, so send your flow and pressure requirements and we will confirm sizing against the datasheet on request.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. The reflux valve permits reverse flow through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes GFR300 flow as curves, not as a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number here. Send us your line pressure, set pressure and air demand, and we will confirm the flow from the datasheet on request before you order.
Code M specifies a manual drain: condensate collected in the polycarbonate bowl is released by opening the drain when the unit is serviced. If you would rather the bowl discharge without operator action, the family also offers automatic (A) and differential-pressure (blank) drains - ask us and we will confirm the variant.
