GFR30010MLJC2G AirTAC Filter Regulator G3/8 Low-Pressure

The AirTAC GFR30010MLJC2G AirTAC Filter Regulator G3/8 Low-Pressure is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT3/8" ports, a manual drain and regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.

About the GFR30010MLJC2G AirTAC Filter Regulator G3/8 Low-Pressure

The AirTAC GFR30010MLJC2G is a 300-size filter regulator that removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure in a single body. This configuration is built for low-pressure circuits, has G3/8 (BSPP) ports, a manual drain bowl in polycarbonate, 40 um standard filtration, a round external gauge reading in psi, and is supplied without a mounting bracket. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and the working temperature range is -5 to 70 C (non-freezing).

This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family is available in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with a choice of ports, thread forms (PT standard; G and NPT as order options), drain types, filter grades (40 um standard, 5 um with code W) and gauge styles and scales. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we confirm datasheet figures on request before you order.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. The low-pressure type adjusts over a lower band than standard; we confirm the exact figures from the factory datasheet. Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

Model Code: GFR30010MLJC2G AirTAC Filter Regulator G3/8 Low-Pressure

GFR300G-series filter regulator, 300 body — sets the port range.
10Port size PT3/8". This body offers 08 = PT1/4", 10 = PT3/8", 15 = PT1/2".
MDrain: Manual drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi)).
LLow-pressure type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type.
JSupplied without bracket.
(blank)Pressure gauge fitted (blank).
CGauge shape: Round. C is round, F is square.
2Gauge scale: psi. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar.
(blank)Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist.
GG (BSPP) thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT.
(blank)No reverse-flow valve (the default).

Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.

  • GFR600PT3/4" - PT1"

A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Where the GFR30010MLJC2G AirTAC Filter Regulator G3/8 Low-Pressure Is Used

valve

Low-pressure pneumatic clamping circuit

Feeds a clamping or holding circuit on a machining fixture that runs at reduced pressure, where the low-pressure regulator type sets the working pressure and the 40 um element keeps scale and pipe debris out of the clamp cylinders.

science

Laboratory air line prep

Conditions shop air feeding a lab bench or test rig: the filter stage strips water and particulate before the regulator, and the psi gauge gives the operator a direct reading at the point of use.

build

Workshop air drop for air tools

Installed at a 3/8-inch air drop serving impact wrenches and ratchets in a maintenance workshop, removing condensed water from the main line and letting each station set its own regulated pressure.

Is the GFR30010MLJC2G AirTAC Filter Regulator G3/8 Low-Pressure the Right Unit?

Start with the size step: 200, 300, 400 or 600, each stepping up in port and flow capacity, matched against the air demand of your circuit - we can check the published flow curve against your application. For this unit the choices are already set: 300 size with G3/8 ports, manual drain (you drain the bowl by hand on your own schedule), 40 um filtration, low-pressure regulator type, round psi gauge, no bracket, and G thread (PT is the standard thread; G and NPT are order options). If you need finer filtration, the 5 um element is the W-code option; if you prefer hands-off water removal, automatic or differential-pressure drain versions exist in the family. Because flow is published as curves and not a single rating, ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering.

Quick checklist

  • ✓ Body size for your peak flow (PT3/8" here)
  • ✓ Element 40 µm or 5 µm
  • ✓ Drain sets the regulating band
  • ✓ Gauge fitted, shape and scale
  • ✓ Thread PT, G (BSPP) or NPT
  • ✓ Oil needed downstream? Use GFC instead

Installation & Maintenance Notes

  • check Mount vertically, bowl down, following the airflow arrow.
  • check One body does the filtering and the regulating — no separate regulator needed.
  • check Keep inlet pressure at or below 1.0 MPa (145 psi).
  • check Adjust only within 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi).
  • check Drain condensate before the bowl fills.
  • check Keep the unit above freezing (-5 to +70 °C, unfreeze).

The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.

GFR30010MLJC2G AirTAC Filter Regulator G3/8 Low-Pressure FAQ

AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as curves, not as a single rated number, so we do not quote a figure here. Tell us your application and required flow and we will confirm the sizing from the datasheet curve on request before you order.

The M in the code means the polycarbonate bowl is drained by hand, so plan a routine drain check as part of maintenance; automatic and differential-pressure drain versions are available elsewhere in the family. This is the low-pressure regulator type and its exact adjustment range is not published in the material we hold, so we confirm the range from the datasheet on request.
