The AirTAC GFR30015ALJC1TK AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT1/2 Low-Pressure is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1/2" ports, a automatic drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR300 series is a filter regulator: one body that removes water and particulate from compressed air and then regulates the downstream pressure. This unit is built with a 1/2 in NPT port, an automatic drain that discharges collected condensate on its own, a 40 um standard filter element, the low-pressure regulator type, a round MPa pressure gauge fitted, a reverse/check valve, and no mounting bracket. At size 300 the bowl is polycarbonate, so the condensate level is visible at a glance.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with ports from 1/8 in to 1 in, PT as the standard thread and G or NPT as order options, manual or differential-pressure drains, a 5 um element (code W), square or round gauges with MPa, psi or bar scales, and bracket choices. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and working temperature is -5 to 70 C, non-freezing. AirTAC publishes flow as curves rather than a single rating, so we confirm flow and datasheet figures on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. The low-pressure type adjusts over a lower band than standard; we confirm the exact figures from the factory datasheet. Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.
| GFR300 | G-series filter regulator, 300 body — sets the port range. |
|---|---|
| 15 | Port size PT1/2". This body offers 08 = PT1/4", 10 = PT3/8", 15 = PT1/2". |
| A | Drain: Automatic drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)). |
| L | Low-pressure type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| J | Supplied without bracket. |
| (blank) | Pressure gauge fitted (blank). |
| C | Gauge shape: Round. C is round, F is square. |
| 1 | Gauge scale: MPa. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| T | NPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| K | Reverse-flow (reflux) valve fitted. |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Filtering and regulating the supply air to clamping cylinders on a stamping or forming press, with the automatic drain clearing condensate between cycles without operator attention.
Conditioning air for diverters, pushers and gate cylinders on a packaging conveyor, keeping water and pipe scale out of directional valves and cylinder seals.
A local filter regulator at an assembly-cell air drop, giving operators their own set pressure read on the round MPa gauge instead of relying on a header setting shared across the plant.
Choose the size by port and flow: size 300 covers a 1/2 in port, and stepping up or down to 400 or 200 changes both the port and the flow capacity shown in the catalogue curves. Drain comes as automatic (this unit), manual, or the differential-pressure default; automatic suits points where nobody opens a drain valve regularly. The element is 40 um as standard; specify code W for 5 um where downstream equipment needs finer filtration. Gauges are embedded square or external round, with MPa, psi or bar scales; this unit carries a round MPa gauge. Thread is PT as standard with G and NPT as order options - this unit is the NPT version. Brackets are optional; this unit is supplied without one. The regulator is the low-pressure type; its exact adjustment range is not published, so confirm the set pressure you need with us. Because flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. The reflux valve permits reverse flow through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR300 series as curves, not as a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number here. Send us your line pressure, port size and air demand and we will confirm the flow from the datasheet on request.
The automatic drain (code A) discharges collected condensate from the polycarbonate bowl without anyone opening a valve, which suits unattended or hard-to-reach installations. The same GFR300 size is also available with a manual drain or the differential-pressure default - tell us which you need and we will confirm the variant.
