GFR30015ALJNWT AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT1/2 Low-Pressure

The AirTAC GFR30015ALJNWT AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT1/2 Low-Pressure is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 5 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1/2" ports, a automatic drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.

About the GFR30015ALJNWT AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT1/2 Low-Pressure

The AirTAC GFR30015ALJNWT is a filter regulator: water and particulate filtration plus pressure regulation combined in one compact body. This 300-size unit is fitted with 1/2 in NPT ports, the fine 5 um filter element (code W), an automatic drain that expels collected condensate without manual attention, and the low-pressure regulator type for circuits that operate at reduced set pressures. No gauge is fitted and no mounting bracket is included, so plan your panel accordingly.

This is a genuine AirTAC part in the GFR300 series, one size within a range spanning 200, 300, 400 and 600 with a choice of ports, threads, drain types, filter grades and gauge options. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm the datasheet figures for your application before ordering.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. The low-pressure type adjusts over a lower band than standard; we confirm the exact figures from the factory datasheet. Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

Model Code: GFR30015ALJNWT AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT1/2 Low-Pressure

GFR300G-series filter regulator, 300 body — sets the port range.
15Port size PT1/2". This body offers 08 = PT1/4", 10 = PT3/8", 15 = PT1/2".
ADrain: Automatic drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)).
LLow-pressure type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type.
JSupplied without bracket.
NNo pressure gauge (N).
(blank)Gauge shape: Factory standard. C is round, F is square.
(blank)Gauge scale: Factory standard. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar.
WFiltering grade 5 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist.
TNPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT.
(blank)No reverse-flow valve (the default).

Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.

A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Where the GFR30015ALJNWT AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT1/2 Low-Pressure Is Used

valve

Pneumatic clamping on a machining centre

Feeds and regulates the clamp circuit on a CNC fixture where workholding runs at reduced pressure; the 5 um element protects the clamp cylinders from dirt and the automatic drain keeps condensate out of the circuit.

conveyor_belt

Packaging line sealing jaws

Prepares the air supply for the sealing and forming cylinders on a bag or carton packaging machine, holding a steady low set pressure while the automatic drain clears moisture between shifts.

science

Laboratory air manifold

Conditions the compressed air feeding bench-top lab apparatus and pneumatic sample handlers, where the fine 5 um grade and low-pressure regulation suit sensitive instruments and low set pressures.

Is the GFR30015ALJNWT AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT1/2 Low-Pressure the Right Unit?

Size and port set the flow capacity: step up from 300 to 400 or 600 if your air demand grows, and match the port (here 1/2 in NPT) to your piping. Drain type matters: automatic drains itself, manual needs operator attention, and differential-pressure draining responds to the pressure drop across the element. Filter grade is 40 um standard or 5 um fine (this unit carries the 5 um W element) for downstream components that need cleaner air. Gauge and scale are selectable on units that carry one - this configuration has none - and PT is the standard thread with G and NPT as order options; a bracket is optional too.

Flow is published as curves, not a single rated figure, so send us your application details and we will confirm sizing against the datasheet before you order.

Quick checklist

  • ✓ Body size for your peak flow (PT1/2" here)
  • ✓ Element 40 µm or 5 µm
  • ✓ Drain sets the regulating band
  • ✓ Gauge fitted, shape and scale
  • ✓ Thread PT, G (BSPP) or NPT
  • ✓ Oil needed downstream? Use GFC instead

Installation & Maintenance Notes

  • check Mount vertically, bowl down, following the airflow arrow.
  • check One body does the filtering and the regulating — no separate regulator needed.
  • check Keep inlet pressure at or below 1.0 MPa (145 psi).
  • check Adjust only within 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi).
  • check Drain condensate before the bowl fills.
  • check Keep the unit above freezing (-5 to +70 °C, unfreeze).

The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.

GFR30015ALJNWT AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT1/2 Low-Pressure FAQ

AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR300 series as curves, not as a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number here. Tell us your application and required flow and we will confirm the sizing against the datasheet on request.

The automatic drain expels collected condensate from the bowl by itself, so no manual draining is needed - a good choice where the unit sits in an infrequently attended position. This configuration (code N) is ordered without a pressure gauge and without a mounting bracket; gauge and bracket options exist in the series if you need them.
