The AirTAC GFR30015JC1WT AirTAC Filter Regulator 1/2 in NPT is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 5 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1/2" ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR30015JC1WT is a size 300 filter regulator: water and particulate filtration plus downstream pressure regulation in a single body. This configuration has a 1/2 in NPT port, a fine 5 um filter element (the W grade, against the 40 um standard), a differential-pressure drain that bleeds collected condensate automatically whenever the pressure differential across the element rises, and a round pressure gauge reading in MPa. The regulator is the standard type with an adjustment range of 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi), the maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi), the working temperature range is -5 to 70 C (non-freezing), and the bowl on this size is polycarbonate (PC). No mounting bracket is included with the J suffix.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR filter-regulator family is available in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with ports from 1/8 in to 1 in, and can be ordered with manual, automatic or differential-pressure drains, 40 um or 5 um elements, square or round gauges in MPa, psi or bar scales, and PT, G or NPT threads. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so ask us to confirm the datasheet and sizing figures for your application on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

|---|---|
| 15 | Port size PT1/2". This body offers 08 = PT1/4", 10 = PT3/8", 15 = PT1/2". |
| (blank) | Drain: Differential-pressure drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)). |
| (blank) | Standard type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| J | Supplied without bracket. |
| (blank) | Pressure gauge fitted (blank). |
| C | Gauge shape: Round. C is round, F is square. |
| 1 | Gauge scale: MPa. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| W | Filtering grade 5 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| T | NPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Cleaned and regulated air feeding tool changers, clamps and pneumatic actuators on a machining centre, with the 5 um element protecting fine-control valves from particulate carryover.
Point-of-use preparation at paint and sealant stations, where the regulator holds a steady gun supply pressure and the fine element helps keep water and debris out of the finishing air.
Regulated air to carton-forming and case-sealing cylinders on a packaging conveyor, with the differential-pressure drain keeping condensate out of the valve bank without daily manual draining.
Step up or down through the GFR sizes (200/300/400/600) and their ports (1/8 in to 1 in) to match the pipe size and the flow your line needs - the 300 size with a 1/2 in port sits mid-range. Choose the drain to suit attendance: differential-pressure (as here) drains only when the element loads up, automatic drains continuously, and manual requires someone to open the drain. Pick 40 um for general air preparation or 5 um (this unit) where finer protection downstream matters. Gauge style and scale (square embedded or round external; MPa, psi or bar) and thread (PT standard, G or NPT to order) are decodable choices, and a bracket can be added where the J (no bracket) suffix does not suit the mounting. Because flow is published as curves and not a single rating, ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as curves, not as a single rated number, so we do not quote a rated flow, Cv or SCFM figure. Send us your line pressure, downstream pressure target and expected air demand, and we will confirm the sizing from the datasheet on request.
The W suffix in the code selects the 5 um filter grade instead of the 40 um standard, giving finer particulate removal. The drain is the differential-pressure type (the blank code position): condensate is discharged automatically when the pressure drop across the element indicates it is loaded, with no manual draining or auto-drain fitting required.
