The AirTAC GFR30015JC2 AirTAC Filter Regulator PT1/2, 40 um is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1/2" ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR300-15JC2 is a filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and holds downstream pressure steady in a single compact body. This 300-size unit is fitted with a PT1/2 port, the standard 40 um filter element, and a differential-pressure drain that bleeds collected condensate automatically whenever the pressure drop across the element rises. Pressure is set across the standard 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi) adjustment range and read on the supplied external round gauge scaled in psi. No mounting bracket is included with this configuration.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family spans 200, 300, 400 and 600 sizes with ports from 1/8" to 1", optional 5 um elements, automatic or manual drains, and G or NPT thread variants to order. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so ask us to confirm the datasheet figures for your application before ordering.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

|---|---|
| 15 | Port size PT1/2". This body offers 08 = PT1/4", 10 = PT3/8", 15 = PT1/2". |
| (blank) | Drain: Differential-pressure drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)). |
| (blank) | Standard type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| J | Supplied without bracket. |

| C | Gauge shape: Round. C is round, F is square. |
| 2 | Gauge scale: psi. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| (blank) | PT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Installed at the take-off feeding an assembly cell, it strips water and pipe scale from the main line and holds a steady regulated pressure to the cell's air tools and fixtures, with the psi gauge giving operators a clear setpoint readout.
Mounted on the air inlet of a packaging or cartoning machine, it cleans the supply and keeps actuator pressure stable so cylinders and clamps cycle consistently through each shift, while the differential drain handles condensate without daily manual blowing down.
Used as the conditioning stage in a pneumatic control panel, it protects downstream valves and logic elements from moisture and debris and delivers a fixed regulated pressure to the control circuit, read directly on the round psi gauge.
Start with the port step: this 300-size unit carries PT1/2, so match it to your line size and the flow your circuit needs - larger GFR sizes move more air. The 40 um element suits general plant air; specify the 5 um (W) variant if downstream equipment needs finer filtration. Drain choice matters: this unit uses the differential-pressure drain (default), while automatic (A) and manual (M) drains are available in the family. The round gauge here is scaled in psi; MPa and bar scales are also offered, and an embedded square gauge is the standard alternative. Thread is PT as standard, with G (BSPP) and NPT as order options; brackets are optional on GFR.
Because AirTAC publishes flow only as curves and not as a single rated number, we cannot quote a rated flow here. Send us your application details and we will confirm sizing against the datasheet before you order.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote a rated flow, Cv or SCFM number here. Tell us your line size and air demand and we will confirm the datasheet flow figures for this PT1/2 unit against your application before you order.
This configuration uses the differential-pressure drain, the GFR default: condensate collected in the PC bowl is discharged automatically when the pressure drop across the 40 um element rises to a set level. If your application needs a different scheme, the family also offers an automatic drain (code A) and a manual drain (code M) as order options.
