The AirTAC GFR30015JC3TK AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT1/2 is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1/2" ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The GFR30015JC3TK is an AirTAC GFR300 filter regulator: filtration and pressure regulation combined in one body. This configuration is built around a 1/2 in NPT port, a 40 um filter element for water and particulate removal, and a differential-pressure drain that bleeds collected condensate automatically as pressure across the bowl changes. The regulator is the standard type with an adjustment range of 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi), and the code C3 adds an external round gauge reading in bar alongside the standard embedded square gauge. A reverse/check valve (K) is fitted, and the J code means no mounting bracket is supplied. The polycarbonate bowl is rated for -5 to 70 C (non-freezing) and the unit takes a maximum inlet pressure of 1.0 MPa (145 psi).
This is a genuine AirTAC part from the GFR300 series, one of four sizes (200/300/400/600) in the GFR filter-regulator line. Options across the series include manual or automatic drains, a 5 um element (code W), square or round gauges with MPa, psi or bar scales, and G (BSPP) or NPT threads in place of the PT standard. AirTAC publishes flow for this series as curves rather than a single rated figure, so ask us and we will confirm the datasheet figures for your application on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Feeding a pneumatic press cylinder at a set working pressure, with the 40 um element keeping scale and pipe debris out of the valve stack and the check valve holding the set pressure if upstream supply dips.
Conditioning the air feeding weld-gun clamps and positioner actuators, where the round bar gauge lets a technician read set pressure at a glance and the differential-pressure drain clears condensate without stopping the cell.
Filtering and regulating the 1/2 in main drop that feeds tool changers, clamps and air blast on a CNC machining centre, protecting the machine's valves from water and particulate carryover.
Start with the port and size: this unit steps up to 1/2 in NPT within the GFR300 frame, and moving to GFR400 or GFR600 buys larger ports and more flow if your line needs it. On drainage, the differential-pressure drain fitted here works unattended; choose automatic (A) for continuous condensate duty or manual (M) where you want drain control in hand. The 40 um element is the standard grade; specify W for the 5 um element if downstream equipment needs finer filtration. Gauge choices are the embedded square gauge or an external round gauge, with MPa, psi or bar scales - this unit carries a round bar gauge. Thread is NPT here; PT is the AirTAC standard and G (BSPP) is an order option, all stated as specification. The J code omits the mounting bracket, which is otherwise optional. Because AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, not a single rating, ask us to confirm sizing against your air demand before ordering.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. The reflux valve permits reverse flow through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR300 series as performance curves, not as a single rated number, so we do not quote a rated flow figure. Send us your air demand and line conditions and we will confirm the relevant datasheet figures on request before you order.
This configuration carries the default differential-pressure drain: condensate collected in the polycarbonate bowl is discharged automatically as the pressure difference across the filter element changes, so there is no manual drain valve to operate. If you prefer an automatic drain (code A) or a manual drain (code M), those are available as order options in the same series.
