The AirTAC GFR30015LF3T AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT1/2 Low-Pressure is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1/2" ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR300 is a filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure in a single body, so one unit does the job of a filter and a regulator while taking up less panel space. This GFR30015LF3T is the 300 size with NPT1/2 ports, built as the low-pressure regulator type for circuits that run below standard regulated pressures. It carries the standard 40 um filter element, a differential-pressure drain that bleeds collected condensate automatically as flow passes through, an embedded square gauge scaled in bar, and a mounting bracket. The bowl on the 300 size is polycarbonate (PC).
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family is available in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with a choice of port sizes, PT, G or NPT threads, manual, automatic or differential-pressure drains, a 5 um element option, gauge scale choices and a reverse/check valve option. The exact regulation range of the low-pressure type is not published in our sheet, and flow is published only as curves rather than a single rating - ask us and we will confirm both from the datasheet for your application.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. The low-pressure type adjusts over a lower band than standard; we confirm the exact figures from the factory datasheet. Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

| L | Low-pressure type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |

| F | Gauge shape: Square. C is round, F is square. |
| 3 | Gauge scale: bar. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| T | NPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Packaging machines often run clamp or hold-down cylinders at gentler pressures than the main air line supplies. This low-pressure type GFR300 filters the incoming air, drains condensate differentially, and lets a technician set and read the reduced working pressure on the bar-scale square gauge.
Spray, coating and lab-process stations need clean, dry air held at a steady reduced pressure so the process stays repeatable. The 40 um element catches pipe scale and water carryover from the 1/2 in supply, while the regulator section holds the setpoint and the differential drain keeps the PC bowl from loading up.
Diverter gates and stopper cylinders on conveyor lines run for thousands of cycles a shift and are sensitive to dirt and pressure drift. Feeding them through this GFR300 filters the shop air, regulates it to the pressure the gate was designed for, and shows the setting at a glance on the embedded bar gauge.
Start with size and port: the GFR series steps through sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600, each opening onto larger ports (here 1/2 in on the 300 size), so pick the step whose flow curve covers your demand with margin. Then set the drain: differential-pressure (this model, no operator action), automatic (A) for unattended drains, or manual (M) where you want scheduled draining. Choose the 40 um standard element or the 5 um W option for finer protection, and pick the gauge scale - MPa, psi or bar (this unit is bar). Thread is PT as standard; G and NPT are order options, as NPT is here. A bracket is included on this size; J deletes it.
One honest note before you order: because AirTAC publishes flow as curves rather than a single rated figure, and the low-pressure type's regulation range is not in our published sheet, send us your line pressure, required downstream pressure and air demand and we will confirm the sizing against the datasheet before you commit.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as curves, not as a single rated number, and the regulation range of the low-pressure (L) type is not in our published sheet - so we will not quote you a figure we cannot stand behind. Send us your inlet pressure, the downstream pressure you need and your air consumption, and we will confirm the flow curve and regulation data from the datasheet for this exact model before you order.
The L is the low-pressure regulator type: the unit is built for circuits regulated below the standard type's range. Its exact adjustment range is not published in our sheet, so we confirm it on request. The drain is the differential-pressure type (blank code position): condensate collected in the PC bowl is discharged automatically by the pressure differential created as air flows through, with no manual draining. If you prefer a manual (M) or fully automatic (A) drain, that is an order option on the same size.
