The AirTAC GFR30015LJNT AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT1/2 Low-Pressure is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1/2" ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR30015LJNT is a size-300 filter regulator that removes water and particulate from compressed air and reduces pressure to the working level in one body. This configuration is the low-pressure regulator type, fitted with a 40 um standard filter element and a differential-pressure drain that bleeds collected condensate automatically as flow passes through. It has 1/2 in NPT ports, a polycarbonate bowl, and no gauge or mounting bracket fitted.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR series is available in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with a choice of 40 um or 5 um (code W) filtration, automatic, manual or differential-pressure drains, gauge options, and PT, G or NPT threads. Rated flow is published as curves rather than a single figure, so ask us to confirm sizing and datasheet figures for your application before ordering.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. The low-pressure type adjusts over a lower band than standard; we confirm the exact figures from the factory datasheet. Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.
| GFR300 | G-series filter regulator, 300 body — sets the port range. |
|---|---|
| 15 | Port size PT1/2". This body offers 08 = PT1/4", 10 = PT3/8", 15 = PT1/2". |
| (blank) | Drain: Differential-pressure drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)). |
| L | Low-pressure type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| J | Supplied without bracket. |
| N | No pressure gauge (N). |
| (blank) | Gauge shape: Factory standard. C is round, F is square. |
| (blank) | Gauge scale: Factory standard. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| T | NPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Feeds clamp and hold-down cylinders on a machining or assembly fixture where workpieces must be held at a reduced, stable pressure rather than full line pressure, with the 40 um element keeping scale and pipe debris out of the clamp valves.
Installed ahead of the directional valves on a carton-sealing or case-packing machine, cleaning the shop air and stepping the supply down to the gentle pressure the actuators need, while the differential-pressure drain keeps condensate out of the valve bank.
Mounted at the drop on a distribution conveyor line, this filter regulator supplies the diverters, stops and pushers at a controlled low pressure so product is moved without being slammed, with water and particulate removed before the cylinders.
Start with the port and body size: this unit steps up to 1/2 in NPT in the size-300 body, and the right size depends on the flow your line needs - because flow is published as curves, not a single rating, send us your demand and we will confirm the fit. Choose the drain next: this unit uses the differential-pressure drain, with automatic (code A) and manual (code M) variants available. Filtration is the 40 um standard element; specify the W code for 5 um if downstream equipment needs finer cleaning. This is the L low-pressure regulator type, so confirm the control range suits your circuit with us first. No gauge is fitted on this code (N); gauge and scale options exist if you want local pressure indication. Thread here is NPT; PT is the standard and G is also an order option. The J code means no mounting bracket is supplied.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as curves, not as a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number here. Send us your line pressure, working pressure and air demand, and we will confirm the flow curve and whether the size-300 body with 1/2 in NPT ports matches your application before you order.
L is the low-pressure regulator type, intended for circuits where the working pressure sits below the standard regulator's normal band; the exact range for this variant is not published on our sheet, so confirm it with us. N means no gauge is fitted, so there is no local pressure indication on this unit - gauge options exist in the series if you want one.
