The AirTAC GFR30015MLJC2WT AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT1/2 is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 5 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1/2" ports, a manual drain and regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR300 series combines water and particulate filtration with pressure regulation in a single body. This configuration, GFR30015MLJC2WT, is the 300-size unit with 1/2 in NPT ports, a 5 um filter element (code W), a manual drain, and a round pressure gauge reading in psi. It is the low-pressure regulator type and is supplied without a mounting bracket. The polycarbonate bowl lets you see the condensate level, and the manual drain is emptied by hand during routine checks.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family is offered in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with ports from 1/8 in to 1 in, a choice of differential-pressure, automatic or manual drains, 40 um standard or 5 um (W) filtration, gauge styles and scales, G, NPT or standard PT threads, and bracket options. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and the working temperature range is -5 to 70 C, non-freezing. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm sizing and any datasheet figure against your application.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. The low-pressure type adjusts over a lower band than standard; we confirm the exact figures from the factory datasheet. Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.
| GFR300 | G-series filter regulator, 300 body — sets the port range. |
|---|---|
| 15 | Port size PT1/2". This body offers 08 = PT1/4", 10 = PT3/8", 15 = PT1/2". |
| M | Drain: Manual drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi)). |
| L | Low-pressure type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| J | Supplied without bracket. |
| (blank) | Pressure gauge fitted (blank). |
| C | Gauge shape: Round. C is round, F is square. |
| 2 | Gauge scale: psi. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| W | Filtering grade 5 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| T | NPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Set a stable, reduced supply pressure for spray guns and keep water and fine particles out of the finish; the round psi gauge makes the setting easy to read and repeat between operators.
Regulate air to sealing, clamping and small cylinders on packaging lines where the low-pressure regulator type suits reduced-pressure circuits, with 5 um filtered air protecting valve spools and seals.
Bench setups that exercise actuators or valves at reduced supply pressure can use this unit to set and read the test pressure in psi while the 5 um element keeps the bench air clean.
Size and port step up with demand: 200, 300, 400 and 600 cover ports from 1/8 in to 1 in, so pick the size whose flow curve covers your consumption - we can check the curve for you. Where a bowl is fitted, choose the drain: manual (as here) needs periodic hand draining, automatic drains condensate without attention, and the default differential-pressure drain is the catalogue standard. Filter grade is 40 um standard or 5 um with code W; this unit carries the 5 um element. Gauges are embedded square as standard with an optional external round gauge in MPa, psi or bar scales; this configuration has the round psi gauge. Thread is PT as the catalogue standard, with G (BSPP) and NPT as order options - this unit is NPT. Brackets are optional; this unit is supplied without one. Because flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR300 series as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number here. Tell us your working pressure and air consumption and we will confirm the sizing from the datasheet on request.
The L in the code marks the low-pressure regulator variant rather than the standard one. Its exact adjustment range is not published in the catalogue sheet we work from, so ask us to confirm the setting range for your application before ordering.
