The AirTAC GFR30015MLJF2WTK AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT1/2 is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 5 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1/2" ports, a manual drain and regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR300 series is a filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and reduces pressure to your set point in a single body. This configuration is built for a 1/2 inch NPT port, carries the finer 5 um filtration element (code W), drains the bowl manually, and uses the low-pressure regulator type. It ships as coded with an embedded square gauge reading in psi and a reverse/check valve fitted, and no mounting bracket.
This is a genuine AirTAC part in the GFR family, which spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with port sizes from 1/8 to 1 inch. Across the series you can order automatic, manual or differential-pressure drains, 40 um or 5 um filtration, PT, G or NPT threads, and gauge scale options. Flow is published by AirTAC as curves rather than a single rated figure, so ask us to confirm the datasheet and sizing for your application before ordering.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. The low-pressure type adjusts over a lower band than standard; we confirm the exact figures from the factory datasheet. Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.
| GFR300 | G-series filter regulator, 300 body — sets the port range. |
|---|---|
| 15 | Port size PT1/2". This body offers 08 = PT1/4", 10 = PT3/8", 15 = PT1/2". |
| M | Drain: Manual drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi)). |
| L | Low-pressure type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| J | Supplied without bracket. |
| (blank) | Pressure gauge fitted (blank). |
| F | Gauge shape: Square. C is round, F is square. |
| 2 | Gauge scale: psi. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| W | Filtering grade 5 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| T | NPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| K | Reverse-flow (reflux) valve fitted. |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

On a carton-sealing or wrapping machine, this unit filters the shop air to 5 um and holds a reduced, low-pressure setting for delicate clamp and hold-down cylinders, with the psi gauge giving operators a direct set-point readout.
At an assembly bench supplied with 1/2 inch NPT drops, the unit strips water and fine particles before the air reaches the fixture's low-pressure clamping circuit, and the manual drain lets maintenance empty the bowl during scheduled checks.
Feeding diverters, stops and pushers along a conveyor line, the unit conditions the incoming air and regulates it down to the low pressure the actuators need, while the fitted reverse/check valve helps hold the downstream circuit if supply is interrupted.
Start with the port step: size 300 with a 1/2 inch NPT port suits lines plumbed at that size, and larger sizes carry more flow - match the size to your demand using the published curves rather than a single rating. Choose the drain to suit access: manual drain (this unit) means an operator opens the bowl drain at intervals; automatic and differential-pressure drains are available where nobody is nearby to drain it. Filtration is 5 um here (code W) versus the 40 um standard - pick 5 um where downstream valves and instruments need finer protection. The embedded square gauge reads in psi; MPa and bar scales and an external round gauge are order options. Thread is NPT here, with PT standard and G available. A mounting bracket can be ordered if this no-bracket build needs panel fixing.
Because flow is published as curves and the low-pressure type's regulation range is not stated as a single figure, send us your operating pressure and air demand and we will confirm the datasheet figures before you order.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. The reflux valve permits reverse flow through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR300 series as curves, not as a single rated number, so we do not quote a rated flow, Cv or SCFM figure. Send us your line pressure and air demand and we will confirm the datasheet curve and check the sizing against your application before you order.
The M in the code specifies a manual drain: condensed water collects in the PC bowl and an operator opens the drain at intervals. If the unit will be mounted where nobody passes regularly, the same GFR300-15 body can be ordered with an automatic (A) or differential-pressure drain instead - just tell us and we will decode the right variant.
