The AirTAC GFR300C08MF2W AirTAC Filter Regulator PT1/4, 5 um, psi gauge is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has See datasheet ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR300C08MF2W is a size-300 filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure in a single body. This configuration has a 1/4 in PT port, a fine 5 um filter element (the standard element is 40 um; W specifies the finer grade), a manual drain for the bowl, an embedded square gauge with a psi scale, and a standard regulator with an adjustment range of 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi). Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi), and the operating temperature range is -5 to 70 C (non-freezing). A mounting bracket is included.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR series is available in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with port sizes from 1/8 in to 1 in, and with choices of drain type, filter grade, gauge style and scale, thread form (PT standard, G and NPT as order options) and bracket. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so ask us to confirm the datasheet and sizing for your application on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

| (blank) | Drain: Differential-pressure drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)). |

Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Filter and regulate the air feeding a small pneumatic press or clamping fixture, holding a stable set pressure at the cylinder while the 5 um element keeps scale and pipe debris out of the valve stack.
Drop this unit into the 1/4 in air line of a packaging or cartoning machine so actuators and ejectors see clean, regulated air, with the psi gauge giving operators a visible setpoint on the panel.
Fit it at the take-off point of a workshop compressed-air drop to condition air before it reaches air tools, blow guns or small actuators, using the manual drain as part of the daily blow-down routine.
Step up or down through the GFR sizes (200/300/400/600) and their port sizes (1/8 in to 1 in) to match the air demand of the line - the larger the size, the larger the port and the greater the flow capacity. On this unit the drain is manual, so plan a routine blow-down; automatic or differential-pressure drains are available elsewhere in the series if you cannot schedule that. The 5 um element fitted here suits points where finer air quality matters; the 40 um standard element is the choice for general upstream protection. The square gauge reads in psi; MPa and bar scales and an external round gauge are options. PT is the standard thread - order G (BSPP) or NPT if your piping needs it - and a bracket is included.
Because flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, we do not quote one number here. Send us your application details and we will confirm sizing against the datasheet before you order.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as curves, not as a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number here. Tell us your application and we will confirm the flow data from the datasheet and check the sizing against your air demand before you order.
The M in the code specifies a manual drain: condensate collected in the bowl is released by operating the drain by hand, which suits lines that get routine attention. If the installation is unattended or hard to reach, the series also offers automatic and differential-pressure drains - ask us and we will decode the right variant for you.
