The AirTAC GFR300C08MF3T AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT1/4, Bar Gauge is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has See datasheet ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The GFR300C08MF3T is an AirTAC GFR300 filter regulator: filtration and pressure regulation combined in one body. It removes water and particulate from compressed air with the standard 40 um element, then regulates downstream pressure across a 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi) adjustment range. This configuration is the 300 size with a 1/4 in NPT port, a manual drain on the bowl, an embedded square gauge scaled in bar, the standard regulator type, and no reverse/check valve. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and the working temperature range is -5 to 70 C (non-freezing).
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family is published in 200, 300, 400 and 600 sizes with port options from 1/8 in to 1 in, a choice of manual, automatic or differential-pressure drains, an optional 5 um (W) filter element, gauge scale choices, and PT, G or NPT threads to order. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so ask us to confirm the datasheet figures for your application.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Feeding the cylinder and gripper circuit of a pick-and-place cell: the 40 um element keeps swarf and pipe scale out of the valve stack, while the regulator holds a steady set pressure so grip force stays repeatable cycle after cycle. The bar-scale square gauge sits on the body for a quick set-point check.
On a packaging line where pneumatic pushers and diverters index cartons, this unit filters the shop air and regulates the branch to the pressure the actuator circuit was designed for. The manual drain lets an operator bleed accumulated condensate at shift start on a line that runs predictable hours.
Supplying a maintenance or assembly bench where impact drivers, ratchets and air screwdrivers run off a 1/4 in drop: the unit cleans the incoming air and lets the technician dial in the pressure the tool manufacturer calls for, reading the set point directly off the square bar gauge.
Size and port step up together: 200, 300, 400 and 600 cover ports from 1/8 in to 1 in, so pick the size whose flow curve covers your consumption at the working pressure - we can check the curve against your demand before you order. Drain type is a real choice on the GFR: manual (as on this model, which also widens the regulation range to 0.05-0.9 MPa), automatic for unattended condensate removal, or the differential-pressure default. Filter grade is 40 um standard or 5 um with the W code if finer particulate protection is needed. The embedded square gauge is standard and this unit is scaled in bar; MPa and psi scales and an external round gauge are alternatives. Thread is NPT here, with PT and G available to order, and a mounting bracket is included.
Because flow is published only as curves and not as a single rated number, send us your application details and we will confirm sizing from the datasheet before you order.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR300 as curves, not as a single rated number, so there is no one figure we can honestly quote. Send us your application - working pressure and air consumption - and we will confirm the flow from the datasheet curve and check the 300 size is right before you order.
The M in the code specifies a manual drain: condensate collected in the bowl is released by hand, which suits lines with predictable running hours. If you need unattended draining, the A code gives an automatic drain, and the default differential-pressure drain is also available - note the manual-drain version carries the wider 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi) regulation range.
