The AirTAC GFR300C08MJF2WG AirTAC Filter Regulator G1/4 5 um is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has See datasheet ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The GFR300C08MJF2WG is an AirTAC GFR300 filter regulator: a 5 um filter element and a pressure regulator combined in one body, with a manual drain and a metal bowl. This configuration has G1/4 (BSPP) ports, a built-in square pressure gauge reading in psi, no mounting bracket and no reverse/check valve. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi), the regulator adjusts from 0.05 to 0.9 MPa (7-130 psi), and the operating temperature range is -5 to 70 C (non-freezing).
It is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family is offered in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with port sizes from 1/8 to 1 inch, and with choices of drain type, filter grade (40 um standard or 5 um), gauge scale (MPa, psi or bar) and thread (PT standard, with G or NPT available to order). Flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so ask us to confirm the datasheet figures for your application.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

| C0 | Port size See datasheet. This body offers 08 = PT1/4", 10 = PT3/8", 15 = PT1/2". |
| (blank) | Drain: Differential-pressure drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)). |
| (blank) | Standard type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |

| (blank) | Gauge shape: Factory standard. C is round, F is square. |
| (blank) | Gauge scale: Factory standard. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| (blank) | PT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Point-of-use filter regulator for the clean, regulated air feed to clamps, tool-change cylinders and air blasts on a machining centre.
Regulated air for carton-sealers, case packers and wrapping heads fed from a quarter-inch drop off the shop-air main.
Bench and fixture stations in an assembly plant where operators need one unit to clean the air and set a stable working pressure.
Size 300 with G1/4 ports suits lines that need filtration plus regulation at a quarter-inch take-off; step up to size 400 or 600, or down to 200, if your air demand points elsewhere - we can check the flow curves against your consumption before you order. The 5 um element (code W) is the finer of the two published grades (40 um is standard), and the manual drain means an operator bleeds the bowl, unlike the automatic or differential-pressure drain options. The fitted square gauge reads in psi; MPa or bar scales and an external round gauge are alternatives. PT is the standard thread on this family, with G and NPT available as order options, and a mounting bracket can be added if this no-bracket version does not suit your panel.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as curves, not as a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number here. Send us your working pressure and air consumption and we will confirm the sizing from the datasheet on request.
The M in the code means the bowl is drained by hand, which suits supervised installations. Where the unit is hard to reach, GFR300 units can be ordered with an automatic or differential-pressure drain instead, and the 40 um standard element is also available if 5 um filtration is finer than the application needs.
