The AirTAC GFR300C08MJNWT AirTAC Filter Regulator 1/4 in NPT, 5 um is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has See datasheet ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR300C08MJNWT is a size 300 filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure in one body. This configuration has a 1/4 in NPT port, a 5 um filter element (finer than the 40 um standard), a manual drain on the bowl, and the standard regulator type with an adjustment range of 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi). No gauge is fitted and no mounting bracket is supplied, so add a gauge separately if you need a local pressure readout.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family is available in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with port sizes from 1/8 in to 1 in, PT as the standard thread and G or NPT as order options, with drain, filter grade, gauge and bracket choices. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so ask us to confirm the datasheet figures for your application before ordering.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

|---|---|
| C0 | Port size See datasheet. This body offers 08 = PT1/4", 10 = PT3/8", 15 = PT1/2". |
| (blank) | Drain: Differential-pressure drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)). |
| (blank) | Standard type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| (blank) | Mounting bracket included. |
| (blank) | Pressure gauge fitted (blank). |
| (blank) | Gauge shape: Factory standard. C is round, F is square. |
| (blank) | Gauge scale: Factory standard. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| (blank) | PT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Cleaning and regulating the shop-air feed to a machining centre's pneumatic tool-changer and clamping circuits, with the 5 um element protecting precision valves and the manual drain emptied during shift checks.
Conditioning air for the pick-and-place and sealing cylinders on a carton packaging line, where one body filters water and particulate and holds a steady regulated pressure for consistent cylinder stroking.
Feeding filtered, regulated air to the jet and actuation circuits of a textile spinning line, where the 5 um grade limits carryover to sensitive nozzles and the manual drain is serviced at scheduled stops.
Size 300 with a 1/4 in NPT port suits lines where the 1/4 in connection matches your piping and the size 300 body suits your flow path; step up to size 400 or 600, or down to size 200, if the port or flow path changes. The 5 um element (code W) is the right choice when downstream valves or instruments tolerate less particulate than the 40 um standard; manual drain means an operator drains the bowl on a routine, which suits attended cells, while automatic or differential-pressure drains suit unattended runs. Gauge, bracket and reverse/check valve are all selectable, and PT is the standard thread with G and NPT as order options.
Flow for this family is published as curves, not a single rated number, so we cannot quote a rated flow here. Send us your application details and we will confirm sizing and the datasheet figures against the GFR300 curve before you order.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR300 series as curves, not as a single rated figure, so we do not quote a rated flow, Cv or l/min here. Tell us your application and we will confirm the datasheet flow figures for this 1/4 in NPT, size 300 unit on request before you order.
This configuration carries the M drain code, so the bowl is drained by hand on a routine you set; that suits attended cells and avoids the small pressure cost of automatic draining. AirTAC also offers automatic (A) and differential-pressure (blank) drains on the GFR family, and the regulator adjustment range differs by drain type: 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi) with a manual drain. Ask us to quote the variant you need.
