GFR300C15NTK AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT1/2

The AirTAC GFR300C15NTK AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT1/2 is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has See datasheet ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.

About the GFR300C15NTK AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT1/2

The GFR300C15NTK is an AirTAC GFR-series filter regulator: water and particulate filtration plus pressure regulation combined in a single body. This size 300 unit has a 1/2 in NPT port, a 40 um filter element and a differential-pressure drain. No gauge is fitted (code N), and a reverse (check) valve is included. The polycarbonate bowl suits the -5 to 70 C (non-freezing) operating range, with a maximum inlet pressure of 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and an outlet adjustment range of 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi).

This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with ports from 1/8 to 1 in, and options including a 5 um element (code W), automatic or manual drains, a square or round pressure gauge with MPa, psi or bar scale, and G (BSPP) or NPT threads in place of the PT standard. A mounting bracket is included with this unit. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm figures from the datasheet for your application.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

GFR300G-series filter regulator, 300 body — sets the port range.
C1Port size See datasheet. This body offers 08 = PT1/4", 10 = PT3/8", 15 = PT1/2".
(blank)Drain: Differential-pressure drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)).
(blank)Standard type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type.
(blank)Mounting bracket included.
(blank)Pressure gauge fitted (blank).
(blank)Gauge shape: Factory standard. C is round, F is square.
(blank)Gauge scale: Factory standard. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar.
(blank)Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist.
(blank)PT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT.
(blank)No reverse-flow valve (the default).

Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.

A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Where the GFR300C15NTK AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT1/2 Is Used

precision_manufacturing

CNC machining centre air prep

Conditioning shop air at the drop feeding a CNC machining centre: the 40 um element removes water and particulate while the regulator holds a set pressure to the machine's pneumatic valves and clamps.

conveyor_belt

Packaging line cylinder supply

A filter regulator at the inlet of a packaging conveyor's pneumatic circuit, delivering clean air at a stable setting to the pick-and-place and sealing cylinders along the line.

factory

Plant point-of-use conditioning

Mounted at a point-of-use drop in a general manufacturing plant, this unit conditions air for downstream actuators and air tools while keeping supply pressure within the 0.15-0.9 MPa setting range.

Is the GFR300C15NTK AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT1/2 the Right Unit?

Choose the size and port against the air demand of the line: this unit is size 300 with a 1/2 in NPT port, and larger sizes carry larger ports and more flow. Drain type is a real choice - differential-pressure (as here), automatic (code A) or manual (code M). Filter grade is 40 um standard, or 5 um with code W where finer filtration is needed. Gauges are optional on GFR units: an embedded square gauge or an external round gauge, with MPa, psi or bar scale. Thread is PT as standard; G (BSPP) and NPT (as on this model) are order options, and the bracket can be included or omitted (code J). Because flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, send us your application details and we will confirm sizing from the datasheet before you order.

Quick checklist

  • ✓ Body size for your peak flow (See datasheet here)
  • ✓ Element 40 µm or 5 µm
  • ✓ Drain sets the regulating band
  • ✓ Gauge fitted, shape and scale
  • ✓ Thread PT, G (BSPP) or NPT
  • ✓ Oil needed downstream? Use GFC instead

Installation & Maintenance Notes

  • check Mount vertically, bowl down, following the airflow arrow.
  • check One body does the filtering and the regulating — no separate regulator needed.
  • check Keep inlet pressure at or below 1.0 MPa (145 psi).
  • check Adjust only within 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi).
  • check Drain condensate before the bowl fills.
  • check Keep the unit above freezing (-5 to +70 °C, unfreeze).

The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.

GFR300C15NTK AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT1/2 FAQ

AirTAC publishes flow for this series as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number here. Tell us your application and we will confirm the flow figures from the datasheet on request.

No. The N in the code means no gauge is fitted. Gauges are available as an option on GFR units - an embedded square gauge or an external round gauge, with MPa, psi or bar scale - so specify one when ordering if you need a local pressure readout.
