The AirTAC GFR400-10 AirTAC Filter Regulator 3/8 in, psi Gauge is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT3/8" ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR400-10 is a size 400 filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure in a single body. This configuration carries a PT3/8 (3/8 in) port with PT thread, the standard 40 um filter element, a differential-pressure drain, an embedded square gauge scaled in psi, and a built-in reverse (check) valve that holds downstream pressure if the upstream supply drops. The polycarbonate bowl suits this size, and maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) with a regulation range of 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi). Operating temperature is -5 to 70 C (non-freezing).
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR series is available in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with ports from 1/8 in to 1 in, optional 5 um (W) filtration, automatic or manual drain variants, gauge scale choices, G or NPT thread options, and bracket choices. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we confirm datasheet figures on request before you order.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

| F | Gauge shape: Square. C is round, F is square. |
| 2 | Gauge scale: psi. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |

| K | Reverse-flow (reflux) valve fitted. |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Feeding clean, pressure-controlled air to the tool-change clamps and pneumatic actuators on a CNC machining centre, with the check valve holding clamp pressure during supply dips.
Conditioning and regulating the air line to spray guns in a paint booth, where the 40 um element strips water and grit that would otherwise blemish the finish.
Supplying filtered, regulated air to the pick-and-place cylinders and diverters on a carton packaging line, with the psi gauge letting operators set line pressure at a glance.
Step up through the GFR sizes (200/300/400/600) as your port and air demand grow; this size 400 unit takes a 3/8 in PT port. Choose the drain to match maintenance access: differential-pressure (this unit, automatic with flow), fully automatic (A), or manual (M) where you want controlled bleeding. The standard element is 40 um; specify 5 um (code W) for finer protection. Gauge scale is selectable: MPa, psi (this unit) or bar, with an external round gauge optional. Thread is PT as standard with G (BSPP) and NPT as order options; this code omits the bracket (J). The K code means a reverse/check valve is fitted. Flow is published as curves, not a single rating, so ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. The reflux valve permits reverse flow through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes G-series flow as performance curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote one number. Tell us your application and we will confirm the flow data from the datasheet on request before you order.
K means a reverse (check) valve is fitted. If upstream pressure is lost, the valve holds pressure on the downstream side, which protects circuits such as clamps or holding cylinders that must not vent. Units without the K code have no check valve.
