The AirTAC GFR400-10 AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT3/8 with Gauge is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT3/8" ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR400-10 is a size 400 filter regulator that removes water and particulate from compressed air and holds downstream pressure in a single body. This configuration is fitted with a 3/8 in NPT port, the standard 40 um filter element, a differential-pressure drain, and a polycarbonate bowl with a bowl guard. A round pressure gauge with MPa scale is included, a reverse/check valve is fitted, and the regulator covers a 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi) adjustment range. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and the working temperature range is -5 to 70 C (non-freezing). No mounting bracket is included with this variant.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR filter-regulator family is available in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with port sizes from 1/8 to 1 inch, optional 5 um filtration (code W), automatic or manual drains, square or round gauges with MPa, psi or bar scales, and G (BSPP) or NPT threads as order options. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so ask us to confirm the datasheet and sizing for your application on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| T | NPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| K | Reverse-flow (reflux) valve fitted. |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Clean, regulated air to a pneumatic press or clamping station, where the 40 um element keeps scale and pipe debris out of the valve stack and the regulator holds a stable working pressure stroke after stroke.
Supply point for packaging and cartoning machinery, where the round MPa gauge lets operators verify set pressure at a glance and the check valve holds the downstream circuit if upstream supply dips.
Point-of-use treatment on a workshop air drop feeding air tools, cylinders and small actuators, with the differential-pressure drain clearing accumulated condensate through the working day.
Choose the size 400 / 3/8 in step when your line's required flow sits above what a 1/2-inch-down or 3/8-inch-down unit can pass - size up through 200, 300, 400 and 600 as flow demand grows. This unit uses the differential-pressure drain, which bleeds condensate automatically whenever the pressure differential across the filter rises; choose the manual-drain variant only if you prefer scheduled draining, and note that the manual-drain version widens the regulation range down to 0.05 MPa. The standard 40 um element suits general plant air; specify the 5 um (W) option where downstream valves and cylinders need finer protection. The round gauge here reads in MPa; psi and bar scales are available, and G (BSPP) or NPT threads can be ordered instead of the PT standard. A bracket can be added on request - this variant ships without one. Because flow is published as curves and not a single rating, ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. The reflux valve permits reverse flow through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote a l/min, m3/h or SCFM number. Tell us your application and we will confirm the flow curve and correct sizing from the datasheet on request.
This unit's differential-pressure drain discharges condensate automatically when the pressure drop across the filter element rises, so no daily manual draining is needed. A manual-drain variant is available to order; note that with a manual drain the regulation range widens to 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi).
