The AirTAC GFR400-10-F3TK AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT 3/8 in is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT3/8" ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR400-10-F3TK is a size 400 filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure in a single body. This configuration carries a 3/8 in NPT port, the standard 40 um filter element, and a differential-pressure drain that bleeds collected condensate automatically whenever the pressure drop across the element rises. The embedded square gauge reads in bar, the built-in check valve holds downstream pressure when the upstream supply is shut off, and a mounting bracket is included. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi), the standard regulation range is 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi), and the operating temperature is -5 to 70 C (non-freezing). The polycarbonate bowl suits the 400 frame; only the 600 size uses an aluminium alloy bowl.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family is published in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with port sizes from 1/8 in to 1 in, optional 5 um filtration (code W), automatic or manual drains, alternative gauge scales in MPa, psi or bar, and G (BSPP) or NPT threads to order. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so ask us to confirm the datasheet figures for your application.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| T | NPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| K | Reverse-flow (reflux) valve fitted. |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Mounted at the drop feeding a small pneumatic stamping or marking press, it filters line water and scale and holds a steady regulated pressure to the press cylinders, while the check valve keeps the set pressure in the circuit if the plant supply is isolated.
Installed on the 3/8 in air drop serving a CNC machining centre's tool-change and clamping circuits, it removes condensate and particles ahead of directional valves and delivers a stable regulated supply to the clamp actuators.
Fitted on the branch feeding carton-sealer and case-erector cylinders on a packaging line, it strips water carried in from the compressor ring main and regulates pressure so the sealing and flap-fold cylinders cycle consistently through the shift.
Start with the port step: the 400 size takes a 3/8 in connection, one step up from the 300 frame and below the 600, so match it to the line size and the flow your circuit needs. Choose the drain to suit access: differential-pressure drains itself on pressure drop (this unit), automatic drains on a cycle, and manual drains need an operator. The 40 um element is the standard grade; specify 5 um (code W) only where downstream equipment needs finer filtration. Gauge scale is selectable (MPa, psi or bar - this unit is bar) and an external round gauge is available as an option. Thread is PT by default; G (BSPP) and NPT are order options, and this unit is specified in NPT. Brackets are included unless code J is specified.
Because flow is published as curves rather than a single rated number, ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. The reflux valve permits reverse flow through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR400 series as curves, not as a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number. Send us your line pressure, set pressure and required air consumption and we will confirm the flow figures from the datasheet for your application on request.
K means a reverse (check) valve is fitted: if the upstream supply is shut off, the valve holds the regulated downstream pressure instead of venting it. The drain on this unit is differential-pressure type - it discharges collected condensate automatically when the pressure drop across the 40 um element rises, with no operator action needed.
