The AirTAC GFR400-10AJNT AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT3/8 Auto Drain is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT3/8" ports, a automatic drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The GFR400-10AJNT is an AirTAC GFR-series filter regulator: a single body that removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure in one unit. This size 400 configuration is threaded NPT3/8 (3/8 in), carries the standard 40 um filter element, and is fitted with an automatic drain that expels collected condensate without manual attention - well suited to lines that run unattended. It regulates between 0.15 and 0.9 MPa (20-130 psi), tolerates a maximum inlet pressure of 1.0 MPa (145 psi), and operates from -5 to 70 C in non-freezing conditions. No gauge is fitted on this variant, so add a gauge separately if a visual pressure reading is needed.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family is available in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with a choice of ports, PT/G/NPT threads, automatic, manual or differential-pressure drains, an optional 5 um element, gauge options and bracket choices. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so ask us and we will confirm the datasheet figures for your application on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

|---|---|
| 10 | Port size PT3/8". This body offers 10 = PT3/8", 15 = PT1/2". |
| A | Drain: Automatic drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)). |
| (blank) | Standard type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| J | Supplied without bracket. |
| N | No pressure gauge (N). |
| (blank) | Gauge shape: Factory standard. C is round, F is square. |
| (blank) | Gauge scale: Factory standard. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| T | NPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Installed at the drop feeding a packaging machine's air cylinders and valves, it cleans moisture and debris from the shop air and holds a steady regulated pressure so sealing and carton-forming motions stay consistent through the shift.
Mounted on the branch feeding conveyor stop gates and diverters, it removes condensate carried in the main line and sets the pressure the gate cylinders need, with the automatic drain clearing water even where the unit is not checked daily.
Fitted ahead of a robot cell's valve manifold, it combines filtration and regulation in one body to save panel space, delivering clean air at the set pressure to grippers and clamps while the 40 um element shields the downstream components.
Choose the size and port step against the air demand of the circuit - sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 step up in port and flow capacity, and this size 400 unit takes a 3/8 in NPT connection. Drain type is a real decision: the automatic drain on this model suits unattended or hard-to-reach installations, while manual and differential-pressure drains are the alternatives in the family. The standard 40 um element covers general protection; specify the W variant for 5 um when finer filtration is needed. Thread is NPT here, with PT (the standard) and G available to order. A bracket is not included on this J-coded unit. Because flow is published as curves and not a single rating, ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as performance curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote one number. Tell us your application and we will confirm the relevant datasheet figures on request before you order.
The A in the code GFR400-10AJNT means the bowl drains automatically, expelling condensate without manual attention - useful on unattended lines. The N means no gauge is fitted, so order a gauge separately if you need a visual pressure reading.
