The AirTAC GFR400-10T AirTAC Filter Regulator, 3/8 in NPT, 5 um is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 5 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT3/8" ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR400-10T is a size 400 filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and holds downstream pressure at your set point in one body. This configuration carries a 3/8 in NPT port, a 5 um filter element (code W) for finer filtration than the standard 40 um, a differential-pressure drain that bleeds collected condensate automatically when flow runs, a round pressure gauge on an MPa scale, a built-in reverse/check valve, and an included mounting bracket. The polycarbonate bowl suits this size, and the standard regulator covers a 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi) setting range with a maximum inlet pressure of 1.0 MPa (145 psi). Operating temperature is -5 to 70 C, non-freezing.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600, with port options from 1/8 in to 1 in, PT as standard thread and G or NPT as order options, drain choices of differential-pressure, automatic or manual, 40 um or 5 um elements, gauge and scale choices, and an optional reverse/check valve. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm the datasheet figures for your application.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

| C | Gauge shape: Round. C is round, F is square. |
| 1 | Gauge scale: MPa. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| W | Filtering grade 5 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| T | NPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| K | Reverse-flow (reflux) valve fitted. |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Feeding tool-clamp and chuck circuits on a machining centre, where the 5 um element protects precision valves from particulate and the regulator holds a steady clamp pressure through the shift.
Conditioning air for conveyor diverters, baggers and heat-seal cylinders, with the differential-pressure drain keeping condensate moving out during continuous production runs.
A point-of-use drop at a small pneumatic press, where the round MPa gauge gives the operator a clear set-point reading and the check valve holds downstream pressure if supply dips.
Step up or down the size ladder (200/300/400/600) to match the port and the flow your line needs; the 3/8 in NPT port here suits mid-size circuits. Choose the drain to match duty: differential-pressure (this model) suits continuously flowing lines, automatic suits intermittent flow, manual suits supervised points. Pick 40 um for general air prep or 5 um (this model) where finer protection matters, such as upstream of precision valves. Gauges come as the embedded square type or an external round type, on MPa, psi or bar scales - this unit carries a round MPa gauge. Thread is PT as standard; G and NPT are ordered options, and this code specifies NPT. A bracket is included, and the K code adds a reverse/check valve. Flow is published as curves, not a single rating, so ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. The reflux valve permits reverse flow through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR400 as curves, not as a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number here. Tell us your application and required flow, and we will confirm the right size from the datasheet curves before you order.
The blank drain code on this model means a differential-pressure drain, which discharges collected condensate automatically as flow passes through - well suited to continuously running lines. Automatic (code A) and manual (code M) drains are available in the same family if your duty is intermittent or supervised.
