The AirTAC GFR400-10T AirTAC Low-Pressure Filter Regulator 3/8 NPT is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT3/8" ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR400-10T is a filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure in a single body. This size 400 unit has 3/8 in NPT ports, a differential-pressure drain that bleeds condensate as pressure drop builds, the standard 40 um filter element and an embedded square gauge scaled in psi. It is the low-pressure type (code L) and no mounting bracket is included. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and the operating temperature range is -5 to 70 C, non-freezing. The bowl is polycarbonate (PC); only size 600 bowls are aluminium alloy.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family is made in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with ports from 1/8 to 1 in, and options include automatic or manual drains, a 5 um element (code W), external round gauges with MPa, psi or bar scales, and G (BSPP) or NPT threads in place of PT. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm the datasheet figures for your application.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. The low-pressure type adjusts over a lower band than standard; we confirm the exact figures from the factory datasheet. Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

| 10 | Port size PT3/8". This body offers 10 = PT3/8", 15 = PT1/2". |
| (blank) | Drain: Differential-pressure drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)). |
| L | Low-pressure type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| J | Supplied without bracket. |
| (blank) | Pressure gauge fitted (blank). |
| F | Gauge shape: Square. C is round, F is square. |
| 2 | Gauge scale: psi. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| T | NPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Feeding clamping cylinders on an assembly fixture that runs at a reduced set pressure, with filtered air protecting the directional valve seats and the square psi gauge giving a direct local pressure reading at the fixture.
Supplying filtered, regulated air to stopper and divert cylinders on a packaging conveyor line, where the differential-pressure drain clears condensate that collects during production shifts.
Conditioning shop air ahead of a laboratory test rig that operates at low pressure, where the 40 um element keeps particulate and water out of sensitive downstream instrumentation.
Within size 400, the 3/8 in NPT port is the step to match against your piping and expected air demand. Drain type matters: this unit uses the differential-pressure drain, while automatic (A) suits unattended installations and manual (M) suits periodically serviced ones. The standard element is 40 um; order code W for 5 um when finer filtration is needed. This is the low-pressure type, so confirm the adjustment range suits your set pressure before ordering - we will check it from the datasheet. The fitted square gauge reads in psi; MPa and bar scales are available, and threads can be ordered in G (BSPP) as an alternative. Flow is published as curves, not a single rating, so ask us to confirm sizing against the application before ordering.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number here. Send us your line pressure, set pressure and expected air demand, and we will confirm the sizing from the datasheet on request.
The L code marks the low-pressure regulator variant of the GFR filter regulator, intended for applications that operate at reduced set pressures. The exact adjustment range for this variant is not published in our sheet, so we confirm it from the datasheet on request before you order. Everything else on this unit is standard: 40 um element, differential-pressure drain and a square gauge scaled in psi.
