The AirTAC GFR400-15ALF1TK AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT1/2 Low-Pressure is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1/2" ports, a automatic drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The GFR400-15ALF1TK is an AirTAC GFR400 filter regulator: water and particulate filtration plus pressure regulation combined in a single body. This size 400 unit is threaded NPT1/2, carries the 40 um standard filter element, and has an automatic drain on the PC (polycarbonate) bowl. The regulator is the low-pressure type, a square pressure gauge scaled in MPa is fitted, a reverse (check) valve is built in, and a mounting bracket is included. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and the working temperature range is -5 to 70 C, non-freezing.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family is available in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with port sizes from 1/8 to 1 inch, and with manual, automatic or differential-pressure drains, 40 um or 5 um (W) elements, square or round gauges with MPa, psi or bar scales, and PT, G or NPT threads. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm the datasheet figures for your application before ordering.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. The low-pressure type adjusts over a lower band than standard; we confirm the exact figures from the factory datasheet. Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

|---|---|
| 15 | Port size PT1/2". This body offers 10 = PT3/8", 15 = PT1/2". |
| A | Drain: Automatic drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)). |
| L | Low-pressure type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| (blank) | Mounting bracket included. |
| (blank) | Pressure gauge fitted (blank). |
| F | Gauge shape: Square. C is round, F is square. |
| 1 | Gauge scale: MPa. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| T | NPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| K | Reverse-flow (reflux) valve fitted. |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Conditions the booth air line by removing water and particulate ahead of the spray guns and holds a low, steady regulated atomizing pressure, while the automatic drain clears collected condensate between shifts.
Feeds clean, regulated low-pressure air to the clamping cylinders on a machining centre fixture, with the built-in check valve blocking backflow toward the upstream side of the circuit.
Acts as the conditioning point for pneumatic grippers and diverters on a bottling or packaging line, delivering filtered, regulated low-pressure air while the automatic drain clears water from the bowl.
The GFR frame steps from size 200 through 600, so match the 400 body and its 1/2 inch port to the air demand of your line - because flow is published as curves, not a single rating, ask us to check the curve against your requirement before ordering. Drain choice is differential-pressure (default), automatic (this unit) or manual; automatic suits installations that run unattended. Filter grade is 40 um standard, with 5 um (code W) available where finer particulate removal matters. Gauges are an embedded square gauge or an optional external round gauge, scaled in MPa, psi or bar; this unit is fitted with a square MPa gauge. Thread here is NPT; PT is the standard and G (BSPP) is also an order option. The reverse/check valve (K) is fitted and the bracket is included. The exact adjustment range of the low-pressure type is not published - confirm your set pressure with us.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. The reflux valve permits reverse flow through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number here. Send us your line pressure and air demand and we will confirm the datasheet flow curve and sizing for the GFR400 before you order.
The L code marks the low-pressure regulator version, intended where the regulated pressure required sits below the standard type's range. AirTAC does not publish the exact adjustment range for this type, so tell us your set pressure and we will verify it against the datasheet.
