The AirTAC GFR400-15C1T AirTAC Filter Regulator, NPT 1/2 in is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1/2" ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR400-15C1T is a filter regulator: one body that removes water and particulate from compressed air and then regulates downstream pressure. Filtration is set at the standard 40 um grade, condensate is removed through the differential-pressure drain, and the regulator is the standard type with an adjustment range of 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi). The 1/2 in NPT port suits larger supply lines, the polycarbonate bowl lets you see the condensate level, and the round external gauge reads outlet pressure in MPa. A mounting bracket is included.
This is a genuine AirTAC part from the GFR filter-regulator family, which spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with port sizes from 1/8 to 1 in, a choice of differential-pressure, automatic or manual drains, an optional 5 um filter grade (code W), square or round gauges with MPa, psi or bar scales, and G or NPT thread options. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm the datasheet figures for your application.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

| C | Gauge shape: Round. C is round, F is square. |
| 1 | Gauge scale: MPa. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| T | NPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Installed at the 1/2 in branch line feeding a CNC machining cell, it strips water and swarf-carrying particulate from the compressed air and holds a steady regulated pressure to the cell's air tools and clamps.
Mounted on the supply to pneumatic cylinders and diverters on a packaging conveyor, it keeps condensate and 40 um particles out of the valves while giving operators a set-and-read outlet pressure on the MPa gauge.
Bolted into the air-preparation panel of an assembly station via the included bracket, it conditions the shop-air feed and regulates pressure to the station's air cylinders and pick-and-place grippers.
Size 400 with a 1/2 in NPT port is the right step when your supply line and expected air demand sit above the smaller 200 and 300 frames; step up or down by port size to match the line. The differential-pressure drain (the default) discharges condensate automatically when the pressure differential across the element is sufficient, so no daily manual draining is needed; automatic (code A) and manual (code M) drains are alternatives on other variants. The 40 um grade is standard for general plant air; specify the W variant if you need 5 um. The round gauge here reads in MPa; psi and bar scales are available. PT is the standard thread; G (BSPP) and NPT are catalogue options to order - this unit is the NPT version. A bracket is included for panel or wall fixing.
Flow for this family is published as curves, not a single rated figure, so we cannot quote a rated flow number. Send us your application details and we will confirm sizing against the datasheet curves before you order.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR family as curves, not as a single rated figure, so we do not quote a rated flow number, Cv or SCFM. Tell us your line pressure and the air demand of your equipment, and we will confirm the sizing from the datasheet curves on request before you order.
This unit has the differential-pressure drain, the default option: condensate collected in the polycarbonate bowl is discharged automatically when the pressure differential across the filter element is high enough, so routine manual draining is not required. If your application calls for it, the family also offers an automatic drain (code A) and a manual drain (code M) as order options.
