The AirTAC GFR400-15F2 AirTAC Filter Regulator PT1/2 Square Gauge is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1/2" ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR400-15F2 is a filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure in a single body. This size 400 unit is supplied with a 1/2 inch PT port, the standard 40 um filter element, a differential-pressure drain that bleeds condensate automatically as flow passes through, and an embedded square gauge reading in psi so set pressure can be checked at a glance. The regulator is the standard type with a 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi) adjustment range, the polycarbonate bowl suits the -5 to 70 C non-freezing operating window, and a mounting bracket is included.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR line spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with port sizes from 1/8 to 1 inch, optional 5 um filtration (code W), automatic or manual drains, alternative gauge scales, G or NPT threads, and a low-pressure regulator variant. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm sizing and datasheet figures against your application before ordering.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Feeding a bench or C-frame pneumatic press on a 1/2 inch line: the 40 um element keeps wear particles out of the cylinder seals while the regulator holds a steady working pressure for consistent forming strokes.
Conditioning the supply to a cartoning or wrapping machine, where the differential-pressure drain handles condensate from a long compressed-air run and the psi gauge lets operators verify set pressure during changeover.
A point-of-use filter regulator on a plant air drop feeding solenoid-valve-controlled actuators, protecting the valve train from water and scale while holding the pressure the actuator sizing assumes.
Start with the port and size step: this is size 400 with a 1/2 inch PT port, one step up from 3/8 and one below 3/4, so match it to the air line serving the machine. Drain choice matters: the differential-pressure drain fitted here needs no attention at low flow, while an automatic drain (code A) suits lines with heavy condensate and a manual drain (code M) suits intermittent use. Filtration is the standard 40 um element; specify 5 um (code W) if downstream valves or instruments need finer protection. The square gauge here reads psi; MPa and bar scales are available, and an external round gauge is optional. PT is the standard thread, with G (BSPP) and NPT as order options, and a bracket is included.
Because AirTAC publishes flow only as curves and not as a single rated figure, we will not quote a flow number here. Send us your application details and we will confirm sizing against the datasheet curves before you order.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR400 series as curves, not as a single rated figure, so we do not quote a flow number. Tell us your line size and air demand and we will confirm sizing against the datasheet curves on request before you order.
This unit's differential-pressure drain bleeds collected condensate automatically as air flows through, with no operator action. If your line carries heavy condensate or runs at very low flow, an automatic drain (code A) or a manual drain (code M) can be specified instead within the same GFR400 series.
