The AirTAC GFR400-15LF2 AirTAC Filter Regulator PT1/2 Low Pressure is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1/2" ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The GFR400-15LF2 is an AirTAC GFR400 filter regulator: one body that removes water and particulate from compressed air and then regulates downstream pressure. This configuration is the size 400 unit with a 1/2 in PT port, the low-pressure regulator type, a 40 um standard filter element, a differential-pressure drain on the polycarbonate bowl, and a fitted embedded square gauge scaled in psi. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and the working temperature range is -5 to 70 C (non-freezing).
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family is offered in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with a choice of ports, drain types (differential-pressure, automatic or manual), a 5 um optional element (code W), gauge scale options and G or NPT threads as order variants. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so ask us to confirm the datasheet and sizing for your application on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. The low-pressure type adjusts over a lower band than standard; we confirm the exact figures from the factory datasheet. Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

| (blank) | Drain: Differential-pressure drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)). |
| L | Low-pressure type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |

| F | Gauge shape: Square. C is round, F is square. |
| 2 | Gauge scale: psi. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| (blank) | PT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Air prep for a workshop press or clamping fixture that runs at reduced line pressure: the 40 um element keeps scale and condensate out of the cylinder valves while the low-pressure regulator holds a gentle, repeatable clamp force.
Point-of-use conditioning on a cartoning or wrapping machine, where the 1/2 in PT port feeds actuators and the square psi gauge lets operators check and set the machine's working pressure at a glance.
Conditioning the air drop to a pick-and-place or screwdriving cell: the differential-pressure drain bleeds collected water from the PC bowl as flow passes, and the low-pressure regulation protects sensitive downstream components.
Step up or down through the GFR size range (200/300/400/600) to match the port and flow duty of your line; this unit is size 400 with a 1/2 in PT thread (G and NPT are order options). Choose the drain type for the bowl - differential-pressure (as fitted here), automatic, or manual - and the element grade: 40 um standard or 5 um (code W) for finer protection. The regulator here is the low-pressure type; its exact adjustment range is not published, so confirm it against your setpoint before ordering. Gauge scale (MPa, psi or bar), an external round gauge instead of the embedded square gauge, and the mounting bracket are all selectable.
Because flow is published as curves and not a single rating, send us your application details and we will confirm sizing from the datasheet before you order.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR400 series as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote a l/min, m3/h or SCFM number. Send us your application details and we will confirm the flow curve and correct sizing from the datasheet on request.
The L in the code marks the low-pressure regulator type, intended for applications set below the standard range; the exact adjustment range is not published, so confirm it against your setpoint with us before ordering. This unit has no drain code letter, which means the differential-pressure drain - the bowl's default - is fitted, alongside the 40 um standard element and the psi-scaled square gauge.
