The AirTAC GFR400-15LJC1TK AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT1/2 Low-Pressure is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1/2" ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR400-15LJC1TK is a filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and holds downstream pressure in a single body. This size 400 unit has a 1/2 in NPT port and the low-pressure regulator type for lower set-pressure duties. The PC (polycarbonate) bowl has a differential-pressure drain, filtration is the 40 um standard element, a round external gauge scaled in MPa is fitted, and the K code adds a built-in reverse (check) valve. No mounting bracket is included. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi); operating temperature is -5 to 70 C, non-freezing.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR range spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with ports from 1/8 to 1 in, plus drain, filter-grade, gauge, thread and bracket options. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so we confirm datasheet and sizing figures on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. The low-pressure type adjusts over a lower band than standard; we confirm the exact figures from the factory datasheet. Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

|---|---|
| 15 | Port size PT1/2". This body offers 10 = PT3/8", 15 = PT1/2". |
| (blank) | Drain: Differential-pressure drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)). |
| L | Low-pressure type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| J | Supplied without bracket. |
| (blank) | Pressure gauge fitted (blank). |
| C | Gauge shape: Round. C is round, F is square. |
| 1 | Gauge scale: MPa. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| T | NPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| K | Reverse-flow (reflux) valve fitted. |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Feeding filtered, reduced-pressure air to the clamping fixtures on a sheet-metal forming press, where the low-pressure regulator type suits gentler hold-down settings and the check valve holds downstream pressure if supply dips.
Supplying filtered, regulated air to the chuck and coolant-spray actuators on a CNC lathe, with the 40 um element keeping moisture and debris out of the machine's directional valves.
Regulating air to diverters and pusher cylinders on a food-packaging conveyor line, where the differential-pressure drain bleeds accumulated water from the bowl without shutting the line down.
Choose the size and port against the air your line actually uses: size 400 with a 1/2 in port sits in the middle of the GFR range, and stepping up or down changes both port and flow capacity. Drain choices are differential-pressure (this unit), automatic (code A) or manual (code M); filtration is 40 um standard or 5 um with code W. Gauge scale is selectable in MPa, psi or bar, and PT or G thread versions can be ordered instead of NPT. Because flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. The reflux valve permits reverse flow through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
Flow for the GFR400 is published as curves in the AirTAC datasheet, not as a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number. Send us your air consumption and line pressure and we will confirm the correct size from the datasheet on request.
L is the low-pressure regulator type, intended for lower set-pressure duties than the standard version; the exact regulation range is not published, so confirm it with us. C1 is the round external gauge scaled in MPa, T is the NPT thread (PT is the standard, with G and NPT as orderable options), and K means a reverse (check) valve is fitted.
