The AirTAC GFR400-15LJF1T AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT1/2 is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1/2" ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The GFR400-15LJF1T is an AirTAC GFR400 filter regulator: water and particulate filtration plus pressure regulation combined in a single body. This size 400 unit has a 1/2 in NPT port, the standard 40 um filter element, and a differential-pressure drain on its polycarbonate bowl (sizes 200/300/400 use PC; only size 600 uses aluminium alloy). Regulation is the low-pressure type, and the embedded square gauge reads in MPa so the outlet setting can be checked at a glance. No mounting bracket is fitted.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with ports from 1/8 in to 1 in, and is offered with manual, automatic or differential-pressure drains, an optional 5 um element (code W), square or round gauges with MPa, psi or bar scales, and G (BSPP) or NPT thread options. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and the working temperature range is -5 to 70 C, non-freezing. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm sizing figures from the datasheet for your application.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. The low-pressure type adjusts over a lower band than standard; we confirm the exact figures from the factory datasheet. Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

|---|---|
| 15 | Port size PT1/2". This body offers 10 = PT3/8", 15 = PT1/2". |
| (blank) | Drain: Differential-pressure drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)). |
| L | Low-pressure type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| J | Supplied without bracket. |
| (blank) | Pressure gauge fitted (blank). |
| F | Gauge shape: Square. C is round, F is square. |
| 1 | Gauge scale: MPa. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| T | NPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Mounted at the air-prep point of a mechanical press line, it cleans the compressed air feeding clamping cylinders and holds a steady regulated supply to the clamp circuit, with the MPa gauge letting setters verify the outlet setting during changeover.
Installed ahead of a machining centre's pneumatic valves and tool-change actuators, it removes water and pipe scale from the shop-air supply and regulates pressure to the machine's air circuit, protecting downstream valves from contamination.
Fitted on the air feed to a spray coating booth, the low-pressure regulator type suits processes that run at lower setpoints, while the 40 um element strips water and particulates that would otherwise mar the finish.
Size and port are the first decision: 200, 300, 400 and 600 step up in port size and flow capacity, so match the size to the air demand of the downstream circuit - this unit is size 400 with a 1/2 in NPT port. Where a bowl is fitted you can choose a differential-pressure drain (as here), an automatic drain, or a manual drain. The filter element is 40 um as standard; specify code W for 5 um when finer particulate removal matters. Gauges are square (fitted here, MPa scale) or round, with MPa, psi or bar scales. Thread is PT as the AirTAC standard, with G (BSPP) and NPT as order options - this model is ordered in NPT. A bracket can be added; this configuration omits it. Because flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, send us your application details and we will confirm sizing against the datasheet before you order.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote one number. Tell us your application and we will confirm the relevant flow and sizing data from the datasheet on request.
L marks the low-pressure regulator type. The exact regulation range for the low-pressure version is not published in our data, so ask us to confirm it against the datasheet. Standard (non-L) GFR units cover 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi) with differential-pressure or automatic drains and 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi) with manual drains.
