The AirTAC GFR40010AJC1T AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT3/8 is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT3/8" ports, a automatic drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The GFR40010AJC1T is an AirTAC GFR400 filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure in a single body. This configuration has 3/8 in NPT ports, an automatic drain that discharges collected condensate from the polycarbonate bowl without manual intervention, a 40 um standard filter element, a standard-range regulator adjustable from 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi), and a round pressure gauge with MPa scale. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and the working temperature range is -5 to 70 C (non-freezing).
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family is available in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with a choice of ports, drain types, 40 um or 5 um filtration, gauge styles and scales, and G (BSPP) or NPT thread options alongside the PT standard. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so contact us and we will confirm the datasheet figures for your application on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.
| GFR400 | G-series filter regulator, 400 body — sets the port range. |
|---|---|
| 10 | Port size PT3/8". This body offers 10 = PT3/8", 15 = PT1/2". |
| A | Drain: Automatic drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)). |
| (blank) | Standard type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| J | Supplied without bracket. |
| (blank) | Pressure gauge fitted (blank). |
| C | Gauge shape: Round. C is round, F is square. |
| 1 | Gauge scale: MPa. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| T | NPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Clean, regulated air at a set pressure for clamping fixtures on a CNC or drilling cell, with the automatic drain keeping condensate out of the clamp circuit at the point of use.
Feeding diverters, stoppers and pusher cylinders on a packaging or distribution conveyor line, where stable regulated pressure keeps actuator sequencing consistent through the shift.
A filter-regulator point at an overhead air drop serving hand tools and small actuators on a factory floor, protecting downstream equipment from water and pipe scale.
Size 400 with 3/8 in ports sits in the upper-middle of the GFR range (200/300/400/600); step up or down according to the flow your line requires - we can check the published flow curves against your demand before you order. Drain choice matters: this unit has an automatic drain, while manual and differential-pressure drain versions are also available. Filtration is the 40 um standard element; specify the W variant if the application needs 5 um. The round gauge on this unit reads in MPa; square embedded gauges and psi or bar scales are alternatives. Thread here is NPT; PT is the AirTAC standard and G (BSPP) is also an order option. This variant is supplied without a mounting bracket. Flow is published as curves, not a single rating - ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR400 series as curves rather than a single rated figure, so there is no one l/min or SCFM number we can honestly quote. Tell us your line pressure and the demand of the equipment you are feeding, and we will confirm the relevant datasheet curve figures for you on request before you order.
The A in GFR40010AJC1T means the polycarbonate bowl has an automatic drain, so collected condensate is discharged without anyone having to open a manual drain valve - useful on drops that are not checked daily. Manual-drain and differential-pressure-drain versions of the same filter regulator are also available in the GFR range if you prefer a different arrangement.
