The AirTAC GFR40010ALJC2TK AirTAC Filter Regulator 3/8 in NPT is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT3/8" ports, a automatic drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The GFR40010ALJC2TK is an AirTAC GFR400 filter regulator: water and particulate filtration plus pressure regulation combined in a single body, in size 400 with a 3/8 in NPT thread. The L code marks the low-pressure regulator type, and this configuration adds an automatic drain, so condensate is expelled from the PC (polycarbonate) bowl without operator attention. Filtration is the 40 um standard element, a round gauge scaled in psi is fitted, and a reverse/check valve (code K) is built in. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and the working temperature range is -5 to 70 C, non-freezing. This unit is supplied without a mounting bracket (code J).
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with ports from 1/8 to 1 in, a choice of differential-pressure, automatic or manual drains, a 5 um optional element (code W), embedded square or external round gauges in MPa, psi or bar scales, and PT, G or NPT threads. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm the datasheet and sizing for your application.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. The low-pressure type adjusts over a lower band than standard; we confirm the exact figures from the factory datasheet. Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.
| GFR400 | G-series filter regulator, 400 body — sets the port range. |
|---|---|
| 10 | Port size PT3/8". This body offers 10 = PT3/8", 15 = PT1/2". |
| A | Drain: Automatic drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)). |
| L | Low-pressure type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| J | Supplied without bracket. |
| (blank) | Pressure gauge fitted (blank). |
| C | Gauge shape: Round. C is round, F is square. |
| 2 | Gauge scale: psi. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| T | NPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| K | Reverse-flow (reflux) valve fitted. |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Feeding clean, regulated air to the cylinders and actuators on a carton-sealing or case-packing line, with the automatic drain keeping condensate out of the supply during continuous shifts.
Supplying a pneumatic clamp or hold-down fixture on a machining cell where the circuit is designed around a lower set pressure than a standard regulator delivers.
Conditioning the air feeding diverters, stops and pushers along a conveyor system, with the built-in check valve holding the downstream circuit if upstream pressure is lost.
Size the unit by port and demand: 400 carries a 3/8 in port and sits mid-range in the 200/300/400/600 step, so move up or down a size as your line's flow requires. Drain type is a real choice - differential-pressure (the default), automatic (this model, code A) or manual (code M) - and the filter element is 40 um standard or 5 um with code W. Gauges are the embedded square type or an external round gauge in MPa, psi or bar; this unit carries a round gauge scaled in psi. Thread is PT as standard with G and NPT as order options - this model is NPT. A mounting bracket can be included or omitted (code J). The L code selects the low-pressure regulator type; its adjustment range is confirmed on request. Because AirTAC publishes flow as curves rather than a single rating, ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. The reflux valve permits reverse flow through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR400 series as curves, not as a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number here. Send us your flow and pressure requirements and we will confirm the correct size from the datasheet on request.
The A code in GFR40010ALJC2TK selects the automatic drain, which expels condensate from the PC bowl without operator attention. GFR units are also available with the differential-pressure drain (the default) or a manual drain (code M), so you can match the drain to how the unit is accessed on your machine.
