The AirTAC GFR40010ANTK AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT 3/8 in is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT3/8" ports, a automatic drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR40010ANTK is a size 400 filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure in a single body. This configuration is ordered with NPT 3/8 in ports, an automatic drain that expels collected condensate without manual attention, and the standard 40 um filter element. The reverse/check valve is fitted, and a mounting bracket is included. No gauge is supplied with this variant, so add a separate gauge if local pressure indication is needed.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with a choice of PT, G or NPT threads, differential-pressure, automatic or manual drains, 40 um or 5 um (W) filter grades, gauge options and a reverse/check valve. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi), the standard regulation range is 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi), and the operating temperature is -5 to 70 C, non-freezing. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm sizing figures from the datasheet for your application.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

| N | No pressure gauge (N). |
| (blank) | Gauge shape: Factory standard. C is round, F is square. |
| (blank) | Gauge scale: Factory standard. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| T | NPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| K | Reverse-flow (reflux) valve fitted. |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Clean, regulated air ahead of a solenoid-valve manifold on an automated machine, protecting spools and seals from water and debris at a set downstream pressure.
Feeding carton sealers and wrapper actuators on a packaging line, where the automatic drain handles condensate through long production runs without operator attention.
Regulated supply to clamp and hold cylinders on a machining cell, keeping holding pressure stable while the 40 um element screens out pipe-scale and wear debris.
Step up or down through the GFR sizes (200, 300, 400, 600) to match port size and required flow; this size 400 unit carries 3/8 in NPT ports. Choose the drain to suit access: automatic (this unit) for unattended condensate removal, manual for periodic attention, or the differential-pressure default. The standard element is 40 um; order the W suffix for 5 um finer filtration. Thread is NPT here, with PT as the standard and G (BSPP) available to order. A mounting bracket is included; gauge options and the reverse/check valve are separate choices. Because flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. The reflux valve permits reverse flow through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes GFR400 flow as performance curves rather than a single rated figure, so no single number is quoted here. Ask us and we will confirm the flow data from the datasheet against your application before you order.
This variant is ordered with the N gauge code, so no gauge is supplied; a separate gauge can be added if downstream indication is needed. The A code fits the automatic drain, which expels collected condensate by itself instead of relying on the differential-pressure or manual drain of other variants.
