The AirTAC GFR40010F1TK AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT3/8 with Gauge is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT3/8" ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR40010F1TK is a size 400 filter regulator that removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure in a single body. This configuration has a 3/8 in NPT port, a 40 um standard filtration element, a differential-pressure drain on the PC bowl, and a square pressure gauge with an MPa scale fitted as standard. A reverse/check valve is fitted, and the unit includes a mounting bracket.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR400 series is the largest of the 200/300/400/600 size steps, and the family is available with 40 um or 5 um filtration, differential-pressure, automatic or manual drains, square or external round gauges with MPa, psi or bar scales, and PT, G or NPT threads. Max inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and the standard regulation range with differential-pressure drain is 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi). Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm datasheet figures on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Feeding filtered, regulated air to a workshop pneumatic press or clamp cylinder station, with the check valve helping hold the set pressure at the press circuit.
Conditioning the shop-air feed to a CNC machining centre's pneumatic valves and tool-change actuators, with the 40 um element catching pipe scale and condensed water.
Supplying steady regulated air to packaging and case-erector cylinders on a production line, with the differential-pressure drain clearing accumulated condensate from the bowl.
Size 400 with a 3/8 in port sits in the upper-middle of the GFR range; step up to 600 or down to 300 depending on the flow your line needs - we can confirm sizing against the published flow curves before you order. Drain type is a real choice: this unit uses the differential-pressure drain (default), while automatic (A) or manual (M) drains are available. Filtration is 40 um standard; choose the W code for 5 um where finer particle capture matters. The square gauge with MPa scale is fitted here; psi or bar scales and an external round gauge are options. Thread is NPT on this code, with PT (standard) and G available to order. A bracket is included; the J code deletes it. A reverse/check valve (K) is fitted to hold downstream settings if upstream pressure is lost.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. The reflux valve permits reverse flow through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR400 series as curves, not as a single rated number, so we do not quote a rated flow, Cv or SCFM figure. Send us your application details and we will confirm the flow and sizing data from the datasheet on request before you order.
This unit uses the differential-pressure drain (the default code), which discharges condensate from the PC bowl when the pressure differential across the filter element rises. If you prefer, the GFR400 series is also available with an automatic drain (code A) or a manual drain (code M); note the regulation range differs by drain type - 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi) for automatic and differential-pressure drains, 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi) for manual drain.
