The AirTAC GFR40010F2T AirTAC Filter Regulator 3/8 in NPT is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT3/8" ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR40010F2T is a size 400 filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and holds downstream pressure steady, in one body. This configuration has a 3/8 in NPT port, the standard 40 um filter element, a differential-pressure drain, and an embedded square gauge scaled in psi. The polycarbonate bowl lets you see the condensate level at a glance, and a mounting bracket is included. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and the regulation range with this drain type is 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi).
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family is offered in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with ports from 1/8 in to 1 in, a choice of PT, G (BSPP) or NPT thread, manual, automatic or differential-pressure drains, 40 um or 5 um (code W) filtration, and MPa, psi or bar gauge scales. Working temperature is -5 to 70 C (non-freezing). Flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so ask us to confirm the datasheet figures for your application.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Feeding spray guns on a finishing line: the 40 um element strips water and pipe scale that cause finish defects, while the regulator holds a steady set gun pressure for consistent coating work.
Conditioning the shop-air feed to a machining centre's pneumatic clamps and tool-change circuits, where a stable, filtered supply keeps clamping pressure predictable shift after shift.
Supplying the air cylinders on a carton-sealing or palletising conveyor, with the filter catching compressor carryover before it reaches valve seals and the regulator holding the cylinder pressure the line was set up with.
Size and port set the capacity: this unit is size 400 with a 3/8 in NPT port; step up to size 600 for larger air demand. Regulation range with the differential-pressure drain is 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi) and maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi). Filter grade is the standard 40 um element; specify code W for 5 um when finer filtration is needed. The square gauge on this unit is scaled in psi; MPa and bar scales are available, and an external round gauge is an option. Thread is NPT here; PT is the AirTAC standard and G (BSPP) is also an order option. Drain choice matters too: differential-pressure (this unit), fully automatic (code A), or manual (code M, which widens the regulation range down to 0.05 MPa / 7 psi). Flow is published as curves, not a single rating, so ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes GFR flow as curves, not as a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number here. Send us your air demand and working pressure and we will confirm the datasheet flow curve and check that size 400 with a 3/8 in port is right for your application before you order.
This unit uses the differential-pressure drain, the AirTAC default, which discharges collected condensate from the bowl as air flows through the unit. Specify code A for a fully automatic drain or code M for a manual drain valve; note that the manual-drain version also widens the regulation range down to 0.05 MPa (7 psi), versus 0.15 MPa (20 psi) on this configuration.
