The AirTAC GFR40010F2TK AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT3/8 is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT3/8" ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR40010F2TK is a 400-size filter regulator that removes water and particulate from compressed air and sets downstream pressure in one body. This configuration carries a 3/8 in NPT port, the standard 40 um filter element, a differential-pressure drain that bleeds collected condensate automatically as pressure across the bowl changes, and a fitted reverse/check valve that holds downstream pressure when the supply is lost. The embedded square gauge is scaled in psi, and a mounting bracket is included for panel or wall fixing.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR range is available in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with port sizes from 1/8 to 1 inch, a choice of PT, G or NPT thread, manual, automatic or differential-pressure drains, an optional 5 um element, and MPa, psi or bar gauge scales. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and the working temperature range is -5 to 70 C, non-freezing. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so we confirm the datasheet figures for your application on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

| F | Gauge shape: Square. C is round, F is square. |
| 2 | Gauge scale: psi. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| T | NPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| K | Reverse-flow (reflux) valve fitted. |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Feeds filtered, pressure-set air to tool-clamp and pallet-actuation circuits on a machining centre, with the check valve holding the set pressure if the shop supply dips.
Conditions the air feeding carton-forming and case-sealing cylinders on a packaging conveyor, keeping moisture and scale out of the valves while holding a stable set pressure.
Serves as the first-stage conditioner at a powder-coating booth, dropping line pressure to the gun-feed circuit and knocking out water before it reaches the finish.
Start with size and port: the 400 size with its 3/8 in NPT port suits lines whose flow demand sits at the upper-middle of the G-series range, and stepping up or down a size changes both port and flow capacity. Choose the drain to match access: differential-pressure (this model) needs no daily attention, automatic drains continuously, and manual drain suits supervised points. The standard element is 40 um; specify the W option for 5 um where finer pre-filtration is needed. The fitted square gauge here reads in psi; MPa and bar scales are available. Thread is NPT on this unit, with PT and G offered as order options, and the bracket is included.
Because flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. The reflux valve permits reverse flow through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR400 as curves, not as a single rated number, so there is no one figure we can quote honestly. Tell us your line pressure, set pressure and expected air demand, and we will confirm the sizing from the datasheet curves on request before you order.
K means a reverse/check valve is fitted. It blocks backflow so the downstream pressure you have set is held if the upstream supply is interrupted - useful on circuits where a sudden pressure loss would dump a clamp or a held load. This unit also has a psi-scaled square gauge (F2), NPT thread (T), and the differential-pressure drain that comes as standard when no drain letter is coded.
