The AirTAC GFR40010JC1T AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT 3/8 is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT3/8" ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR40010JC1T is a 400-size filter regulator that removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure in a single body. This configuration has a 3/8 in NPT port, a 40 um standard filter element, a differential-pressure drain on the PC bowl, and a round pressure gauge with an MPa scale. The standard regulator adjusts from 0.15 to 0.9 MPa (20-130 psi), the maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi), and the operating temperature range is -5 to 70 C (non-freezing).
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family is available in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with a choice of ports and threads, drain types, filter grades (40 um standard, 5 um optional) and gauge scales. Flow figures are published as curves rather than a single rating, so we confirm the datasheet and sizing on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

|---|---|
| 10 | Port size PT3/8". This body offers 10 = PT3/8", 15 = PT1/2". |
| (blank) | Drain: Differential-pressure drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)). |
| (blank) | Standard type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| J | Supplied without bracket. |
| (blank) | Pressure gauge fitted (blank). |
| C | Gauge shape: Round. C is round, F is square. |
| 1 | Gauge scale: MPa. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| T | NPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Point-of-use clean-up and pressure setting on the air drop feeding a CNC machining centre, keeping coolant-laden moisture and pipe scale out of the machine's valves while holding a steady set pressure.
Filtering and regulating the supply to pneumatic cylinders on a packaging conveyor line, so case-forming and pusher actuators see clean, dry air at a consistent setting through the shift.
Conditioning the air line to a spray gun in a finishing booth - the 40 um element knocks out water and grit that would otherwise blemish the finish, while the regulator sets gun inlet pressure.
Step up or down through the 200/300/400/600 sizes to match the port and the flow your line needs - the 400 size with a 3/8 in port sits mid-range. Choose the drain to suit access: differential-pressure (this unit, drains on pressure drop), automatic for unattended draining, or manual where you want control. Filter grade is 40 um standard; specify 5 um (code W) for finer protection. Gauge scale can be MPa, psi or bar, and thread can be PT (standard), G (BSPP) or NPT. A mounting bracket is optional (this unit is supplied without one). Flow is published as curves, not a single rating, so ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR400 as curves rather than a single rated figure, so there is no one l/min or SCFM number we can honestly quote. Send us your application details and we will confirm the flow and sizing from the datasheet on request.
The blank drain code on this model gives a differential-pressure drain, which automatically expels condensate when the pressure drop across the filter reaches a set level. If you prefer fully automatic draining or a manual drain valve, those are orderable drain options in the same GFR400 size - just ask when ordering.
