The AirTAC GFR40010LJC1T AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT3/8 Low-Pressure is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT3/8" ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The GFR40010LJC1T is an AirTAC GFR400 filter regulator: water and particulate filtration plus pressure regulation combined in one body. This size 400 unit carries a 3/8 in NPT port, the standard 40 um filter element, and a differential-pressure drain that bleeds collected condensate automatically whenever the pressure drop across the element rises. It is the low-pressure (L) type, and an external round gauge with an MPa scale is fitted so the set pressure is visible at a glance. The polycarbonate bowl lets you see the condensate level, and the maximum working (inlet) pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) with an operating temperature of -5 to 70 C, non-freezing.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with ports from 1/8 in to 1 in, and can be ordered with a 5 um (W) element, automatic or manual drain, no gauge or a gauge in MPa, psi or bar scale, a reverse/check valve, and G (BSPP) or NPT threads instead of the PT standard. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so ask us to confirm the datasheet and sizing for your application before ordering.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. The low-pressure type adjusts over a lower band than standard; we confirm the exact figures from the factory datasheet. Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

| (blank) | Drain: Differential-pressure drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)). |
| L | Low-pressure type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| J | Supplied without bracket. |

| C | Gauge shape: Round. C is round, F is square. |
| 1 | Gauge scale: MPa. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| T | NPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Feeding filtered, regulated air to the pneumatic clamps, tool-change cylinders and coolant-blow-off nozzles on a machining centre, where the low-pressure setting keeps actuation gentle and the 40 um element protects precision valves.
Conditioning the air supply to a carton-forming and sealing conveyor, where the differential-pressure drain keeps condensate out of the diverters and pushers without a scheduled manual blow-down during production runs.
Serving as the point-of-use filter regulator on a compressed-air drop feeding an assembly cell, giving operators a visible MPa gauge reading and clean, stable pressure to the cell's air tools and fixtures.
Size 400 with a 3/8 in NPT port sits in the middle of the GFR range; step up to 600 or down to 300/200 if your line's flow demand or existing pipework calls for it. This unit uses the standard 40 um element - choose the 5 um (W) version only if downstream equipment needs finer filtration. The differential-pressure drain is the fit-and-forget choice; specify automatic (A) or manual (M) drain if your duty cycle or maintenance routine suits those better. The fitted round gauge reads in MPa; psi and bar scales are also available. NPT is the thread here, with G (BSPP) orderable as an option, and this configuration has no mounting bracket. Because flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR400 as curves, not as a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number here. Tell us your line pressure, set pressure and the flow your application needs, and we will confirm the sizing from the datasheet before you order.
This configuration has no manual drain fitting to remember: the differential-pressure drain bleeds collected condensate from the polycarbonate bowl automatically when the pressure drop across the 40 um element rises. Automatic (A) and manual (M) drain versions can be ordered as alternatives.
