The AirTAC GFR40010LJC3T AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT 3/8 Low-Pressure is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT3/8" ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The GFR40010LJC3T is an AirTAC GFR400 filter regulator: filtration and pressure regulation combined in a single body. It removes water and particulate from compressed air with the standard 40 um filter element, then regulates downstream pressure as a low-pressure type. This unit is built with a 3/8 in NPT port, a differential-pressure drain that bleeds accumulated condensate automatically as pressure differential builds, and an external round gauge scaled in bar so the set pressure is readable at a glance. No mounting bracket is fitted and no reverse/check valve is included. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and the operating temperature range is -5 to 70 C (non-freezing). The polycarbonate bowl keeps the condensate level visible.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family is published in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600, with port options from 1/8 in to 1 in, PT, G (BSPP) and NPT threads, manual, automatic or differential-pressure drains, a 5 um (code W) filter element option, gauge and scale choices, and bracket options. Rated flow for this series is published as curves rather than a single figure, so contact us and we will confirm the datasheet and sizing figures for your application on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. The low-pressure type adjusts over a lower band than standard; we confirm the exact figures from the factory datasheet. Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

| 10 | Port size PT3/8". This body offers 10 = PT3/8", 15 = PT1/2". |
| (blank) | Drain: Differential-pressure drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)). |
| L | Low-pressure type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| J | Supplied without bracket. |
| (blank) | Pressure gauge fitted (blank). |
| C | Gauge shape: Round. C is round, F is square. |
| 3 | Gauge scale: bar. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| T | NPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Filtering and regulating the air feeding a solenoid-valve manifold on an automated assembly line, keeping valve pilot air clean and held at a stable low pressure.
Conditioning the supply to cylinders and actuators on a packaging or cartoning machine, where water and scale from the shop-air main must be stripped before regulation.
Trimming downstream pressure on a low-pressure pneumatic circuit - such as clamping, tensioning or air-blow fixtures - where the bar-scale round gauge allows direct setpoint reading.
Size 400 with a 3/8 in NPT port sits in the upper-middle of the GFR range; step up to size 600 or down to 300/200 depending on the flow your line needs - we will confirm the flow curves against your demand before you order. This unit is the low-pressure type, so it suits circuits regulated well below standard ranges; the exact adjustment range for the low-pressure version is not published and we will confirm it on request. The differential-pressure drain handles condensate automatically, but if your compressor runs intermittently a manual-drain variant may be simpler to service. The 40 um element is the standard grade; specify code W for 5 um where finer particulate removal is required. The round gauge is scaled in bar; MPa and psi scales are also available. NPT is ordered as the thread option here - PT is the catalogue standard and G (BSPP) is also available. No bracket is fitted with the J code; a bracket version exists if you want panel or wall mounting.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as performance curves, not as a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number here. Tell us your line pressure and air demand and we will confirm the datasheet curves and check the sizing for your application on request.
The L code means this regulator is the low-pressure version, intended for circuits regulated below the standard range; its exact adjustment range is not published, so confirm it with us before ordering. The drain is differential-pressure type: condensate collected in the polycarbonate bowl is discharged automatically when the pressure differential across the filter builds, with no manual draining needed under normal operation.
