The AirTAC GFR40010LJF3WT AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT3/8, 5 um is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 5 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT3/8" ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The GFR40010LJF3WT is an AirTAC GFR400 filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and holds downstream pressure at a set point, in one body. This configuration is built with a 3/8 in NPT port, the finer 5 um filter element, a differential-pressure drain, a low-pressure regulator and a fitted square gauge scaled in bar. No reverse/check valve is fitted and no mounting bracket is included.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with ports from 1/8 to 1 in, and options including 40 um or 5 um filtration, automatic, manual or differential-pressure drains, G, NPT or PT threads, and a choice of gauge scale. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and the working temperature range is -5 to 70 C, non-freezing; the polycarbonate bowl suits the 400 size. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm sizing figures from the datasheet for your application.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. The low-pressure type adjusts over a lower band than standard; we confirm the exact figures from the factory datasheet. Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.
| GFR400 | G-series filter regulator, 400 body — sets the port range. |
|---|---|
| 10 | Port size PT3/8". This body offers 10 = PT3/8", 15 = PT1/2". |
| (blank) | Drain: Differential-pressure drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)). |
| L | Low-pressure type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| J | Supplied without bracket. |
| (blank) | Pressure gauge fitted (blank). |
| F | Gauge shape: Square. C is round, F is square. |
| 3 | Gauge scale: bar. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| W | Filtering grade 5 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| T | NPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Filtered, low-pressure regulated air to swing clamps and hold-downs on a CNC fixture, keeping water and chips out of the clamp cylinders while holding the set point.
Supplying clean, regulated air to diverter gates and pushers on a carton conveyor, where the 5 um element and a low-pressure set point suit the line's actuator circuit.
A filtered, regulated pilot supply to pneumatic process valves on a rinse-and-fill line, with the square bar gauge giving operators a local check of the set point.
The real, decodable choices on this family are: size and port step (200/300/400/600 with ports from 1/8 to 1 in - pick the step that matches your line, and we can confirm curve data on request); drain type (differential-pressure as fitted here, or automatic or manual); filter grade (40 um standard, 5 um as on this unit); gauge (embedded square standard, external round optional, with MPa, psi or bar scales); thread (PT is the standard, G and NPT are catalogue order options - this unit is NPT); and bracket (optional on GFR, not included here). This is the low-pressure regulator type, so confirm the adjustment range against your set point with us before ordering. Because flow is published as curves and not a single rating, ask us to check the sizing against your application before you order.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes G-series flow as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number here. Ask us and we will confirm the curve data and sizing from the datasheet against your application before you order.
The W in the model code sets the finer 5 um element (40 um is the standard grade), and the blank drain position means the differential-pressure type. Automatic (A) and manual (M) drains are available in the same family if your installation needs them.
