The AirTAC GFR40010MC1T AirTAC Filter Regulator, NPT 3/8, Manual Drain is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT3/8" ports, a manual drain and regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR40010MC1T is a size-400 filter regulator that removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure in a single body. This configuration has a 3/8 in NPT port, a manual drain bowl in polycarbonate, a standard 40 um filter element, a standard-range regulator adjustable from 0.05 to 0.9 MPa (7-130 psi), and a round pressure gauge with an MPa scale fitted. A mounting bracket is included, and maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi).
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR line is available in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with port sizes from 1/8 to 1 inch, PT as the standard thread and G or NPT as order options, plus a choice of drain type, 40 um or 5 um filtration, gauge style and scale. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm the datasheet figures for your application.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

|---|---|
| 10 | Port size PT3/8". This body offers 10 = PT3/8", 15 = PT1/2". |
| M | Drain: Manual drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi)). |
| (blank) | Standard type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| (blank) | Mounting bracket included. |
| (blank) | Pressure gauge fitted (blank). |
| C | Gauge shape: Round. C is round, F is square. |
| 1 | Gauge scale: MPa. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| T | NPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Feeding filtered, regulated air to a workshop pneumatic press: the 40 um element strips water and pipe scale before the air reaches the valve stack, and the regulator holds a steady working pressure at the press cylinder.
Point-of-use conditioning on a packaging line drop: the manual-drain bowl is bled at shift checks on a machine that is shut down daily, and the round MPa gauge lets the operator verify set pressure at a glance.
Supplying clean, regulated air to pneumatic control components on a process skid: the filter-regulator in one body saves panel space, and the low end of the 0.05-0.9 MPa range suits low-pressure control circuits.
Choose the size and port step against the air demand of the circuit: this unit is size 400 with a 3/8 in NPT port; larger sizes carry larger ports and more flow. Drain type is a real choice on GFR: manual (as here, which also widens the regulation range to start at 0.05 MPa), automatic, or the default differential-pressure type. Filter grade is 40 um standard or 5 um with code W; gauge can be the embedded square type or an external round gauge, with MPa, psi or bar scales. Thread is PT as standard, with G and NPT order options, and a bracket can be included or omitted (code J). Because flow is published as curves and not as a single rated figure, ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR400 series as curves, not as a single rated figure, so we do not quote one number. Tell us your application and we will confirm the flow and datasheet figures for you on request before you order.
The M in the code selects a manual drain bowl: condensate is released by operating the drain by hand rather than automatically. On a manual-drain GFR the regulation range is 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi), starting lower than the 0.15-0.9 MPa range of the automatic and differential-pressure drain versions.
