The AirTAC GFR40015ALC1T AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT1/2 Low-Pressure is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1/2" ports, a automatic drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR40015ALC1T is a size 400 filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure in one body. This configuration is built for a 1/2 in NPT port, carries the standard 40 um filter element, and has an automatic drain that bleeds collected condensate from the PC (polycarbonate) bowl without manual attention. It is the low-pressure regulator type, and the fitted round gauge reads in MPa so you can see and set outlet pressure at a glance. A mounting bracket is included.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with port sizes from 1/8 in to 1 in, manual or automatic draining, a 5 um element option, square or round gauges with MPa, psi or bar scales, and PT, G or NPT threads. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and the working temperature range is -5 to 70 C, non-freezing. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us and we will confirm the datasheet figures for your application.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. The low-pressure type adjusts over a lower band than standard; we confirm the exact figures from the factory datasheet. Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

| 15 | Port size PT1/2". This body offers 10 = PT3/8", 15 = PT1/2". |
| A | Drain: Automatic drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)). |
| L | Low-pressure type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| (blank) | Mounting bracket included. |
| (blank) | Pressure gauge fitted (blank). |
| C | Gauge shape: Round. C is round, F is square. |
| 1 | Gauge scale: MPa. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| T | NPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Filtered, low-pressure-regulated air feeding the clamp cylinders on a CNC fixture, with the MPa gauge letting the setter verify holding pressure at the station.
Conditioning the air stream ahead of the pick-and-place and sealing cylinders on a packaging line, with automatic drain keeping condensate out of the valves.
Supplying clean, regulated air to the divert gates and stoppers along a conveyor system, with the included bracket mounting the unit at the line panel.
Step up or down through the GFR sizes (200/300/400/600) to match the port and the flow your line needs; size 400 with a 1/2 in port suits mid-to-large actuator circuits. Choose the drain to match access: automatic (this unit) for unattended duty, manual where you want controlled blowdown, or differential-pressure as the default. Filter grade is 40 um standard; specify the W code for 5 um where finer protection matters. Gauges come as the embedded square type or an external round gauge (this unit) in MPa, psi or bar scale. Thread is PT as standard with G (BSPP) and NPT (this unit) as order options, and a bracket can be included or omitted. Because flow is published as curves and not a single rated figure, send us your application and we will confirm sizing against the datasheet before you order.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes GFR flow as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote a rated flow number. Tell us your application and we will confirm the datasheet flow curve and sizing for this unit on request.
The A in the code specifies an automatic drain: condensate collected in the PC bowl is discharged without manual blowdown, which suits unattended installations. The L specifies the low-pressure regulator type; its exact adjustment range is not published in the material we hold, so ask us and we will confirm it from the datasheet.
