The AirTAC GFR40015ALC2WT AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT1/2 is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 5 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1/2" ports, a automatic drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR400 series combines water and particulate filtration with pressure regulation in a single body. This GFR40015ALC2WT is configured with a 1/2 in NPT port, a 5 um filter element for finer contaminant removal than the standard 40 um grade, an automatic drain that expels collected condensate without operator attention, an external round pressure gauge reading in psi, and the low-pressure regulator type. A mounting bracket is included, and the polycarbonate bowl suits the 400 size (only the 600 size uses an aluminium alloy bowl).
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with ports from 1/8 in to 1 in, and options for drain type, 40 um or 5 um filtration, gauge style and scale, PT/G/NPT threads and bracket choice. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and the operating temperature range is -5 to 70 C (non-freezing). Flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so ask us to confirm sizing and datasheet details for your application.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. The low-pressure type adjusts over a lower band than standard; we confirm the exact figures from the factory datasheet. Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

|---|---|
| 15 | Port size PT1/2". This body offers 10 = PT3/8", 15 = PT1/2". |
| A | Drain: Automatic drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)). |
| L | Low-pressure type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| (blank) | Mounting bracket included. |
| (blank) | Pressure gauge fitted (blank). |
| C | Gauge shape: Round. C is round, F is square. |
| 2 | Gauge scale: psi. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| W | Filtering grade 5 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| T | NPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Point-of-use filtration and regulation for a packaging line's wrapper and sealing cylinders, with the 5 um element protecting downstream valves from fine particulate and the automatic drain keeping condensate out of the circuit.
Regulating supply to stopper and gate cylinders on a conveyor line, where the low-pressure type suits circuits run at reduced set pressures and the psi gauge gives operators a local reading at the machine.
Clean, regulated air for a laboratory automation skid's pick-and-place actuators; the automatic drain handles moisture carried in from the shop-air supply without daily attention from technicians.
Size the unit by port and expected air demand: the 400 size steps up from 300 with its 1/2 in port, so move up a size when the circuit needs more air. Choose the drain to match attendance: automatic (as fitted here) drains on its own, manual needs periodic bleeding, and the default differential-pressure type relies on flow to trigger. Filtration is the 5 um element (W code) against the 40 um standard. The gauge is the external round type on a psi scale; the embedded square gauge with MPa, psi or bar scales is the standard alternative. This unit is NPT; PT is the standard thread and G (BSPP) is the other order option. A bracket is included.
Flow is published as curves, not a single rated figure, so send us your application details and we will confirm sizing against the datasheet before you order. This is the low-pressure regulator type; we will confirm its exact adjustment range on request.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR400 as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote one number. Send us your application details and we will confirm the flow curve and correct sizing against the datasheet before you order.
C is the gauge code: this unit carries the external round pressure gauge, and the 2 sets its scale to psi. Omitting the gauge code would give the embedded square gauge instead, and scales 1 and 3 read MPa and bar respectively.
