The AirTAC GFR40015C3TK AirTAC Filter Regulator 1/2 in NPT is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1/2" ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR40015C3TK is a filter regulator: one body removes water and particulate from compressed air and sets a stable downstream pressure. This 400-size unit is threaded 1/2 in NPT, filters to 40 um, and regulates between 0.15 and 0.9 MPa (20-130 psi) with a maximum inlet pressure of 1.0 MPa (145 psi). The polycarbonate bowl carries a differential-pressure drain, an external round gauge scaled in bar is fitted, a reverse/check valve is built in, and a mounting bracket is included. Operating temperature is -5 to 70 C, non-freezing.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with ports from 1/8 to 1 in, and options include automatic or manual drains, a 5 um filter element (code W), embedded square or external round gauges with MPa, psi or bar scales, G (BSPP) or NPT threads, and no-bracket variants. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so ask us to confirm the datasheet and sizing for your application.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

| T | NPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| K | Reverse-flow (reflux) valve fitted. |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Mounted ahead of a packaging machine's directional valve manifold, it strips water and 40 um particles from the plant air and holds the manifold pressure steady so solenoid valves and cylinders cycle consistently through a full shift.
On a bottling line's conveyor gating station, the regulator pins the pressure feeding stopper and pusher cylinders so bottles index smoothly, while the built-in check valve holds the setting if the upstream supply dips.
At an automotive assembly cell, each workbench drop takes one of these units so operators set their tool pressure locally; the bar-scale round gauge gives a clear reading and the included bracket mounts the unit neatly at the bench.
Choose the size by the flow your line needs: 200, 300, 400 and 600 step up in port and capacity, and this 400 unit carries a 1/2 in NPT port. Pick the drain - differential-pressure (this unit), automatic (A) or manual (M) - and the filter grade: the standard 40 um element can be swapped for a 5 um W element when finer filtration is needed. Gauges come as the embedded square type or an external round gauge (this unit, bar scale; MPa and psi scales are available), threads can be ordered in PT, G (BSPP) or NPT, and a J code deletes the bracket. Because AirTAC publishes flow as curves rather than a single rating, send us your air demand and we will confirm sizing against the datasheet before you order.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. The reflux valve permits reverse flow through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes GFR400 flow as curves on the datasheet rather than as a single rated number, so we do not quote a figure here. Tell us your working pressure and air demand and we will confirm the flow and sizing from the datasheet on request.
K means a reverse/check valve is fitted, which helps hold the downstream setting against a brief upstream supply loss. C3 means the external round gauge is fitted with a bar scale; square gauges and MPa or psi scales are order options, as are G (BSPP) and PT threads.
