The AirTAC GFR40015F3T AirTAC Filter Regulator 1/2 in NPT is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1/2" ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR400-15F3T is a filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure in a single body. This 400-size unit is specified with a 1/2 in NPT port, the standard 40 um filter element, a differential-pressure drain that bleeds accumulated condensate automatically as pressure differential builds, and an embedded square gauge scaled in bar. The standard regulator covers an adjustment range of 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi), with a maximum inlet pressure of 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and an operating temperature of -5 to 70 C (non-freezing). The polycarbonate bowl suits this size, and a mounting bracket is included.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR series is available in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600, with port options from 1/8 in to 1 in, PT standard thread plus G and NPT order options, manual or automatic drain alternatives, a 5 um filter element (code W), and alternative gauge scales. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so we confirm the datasheet and sizing figures on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Feeding a workshop pneumatic press: the 40 um element strips water and pipe scale from the shop-air supply, while the regulator holds a steady set pressure to the press cylinder so cycle consistency does not drift with header-pressure swings.
Supplying air to conveyor stopper and clamp actuators on a packaging line: clean, regulated air at a fixed setting keeps clamping force repeatable, and the differential-pressure drain clears condensate without an operator visiting each drop.
Installed at a drop leg serving a production cell: one compact unit filters the incoming air and sets the cell's working pressure, with the bar-scaled square gauge giving operators a local pressure reference at the point of use.
Size 400 with a 1/2 in port sits in the upper-middle of the GFR range; step up to 600 or down to 300 according to the flow your line needs, and ask us to check the published flow curve against your application before ordering. This unit uses the differential-pressure drain (manual and automatic drains are orderable alternatives), the standard 40 um element (5 um available as code W), and the square gauge scaled in bar - psi and MPa scales can be ordered instead. NPT thread is specified here; PT is the standard and G is also available as an order option. A mounting bracket is included.
Because flow is published as curves and not as a single rated figure, we do not quote a flow number here. Send us your application details and we will confirm sizing and the full datasheet on request.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as curves, not as a single rated figure, so we do not quote a flow number here. Tell us your application and required flow, and we will confirm the datasheet curve and correct sizing on request before you order.
With no drain code in the model, the GFR400-15F3T carries the differential-pressure drain as the default: condensate is discharged automatically as the pressure differential across the drain builds, with no operator intervention. A manual-drain version (code M) and an automatic-drain version (code A) are available as orderable alternatives - note the regulation range differs by drain type: 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi) for this differential-pressure drain, versus 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi) for the manual-drain version.
